Foster14
In 8 away games we have picked up 15 points, the same amount we picked up all of last season. We also have won 2 more away games this season than we did all of last season. We've gained 11 more points than we did in our first 15 games last year. Our goal difference is also 10 better than the same point last year. We had lost 8 of our league games by this time last season, over 50% of our games. 8 Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Sounds a bit positive to me. Down with this sort of thing. Brown is clueless, Langfield is shit and we never played well enough against Celtic 5 2 Link to comment

No doubt brown will try to claim credit for adding the wide players i had suggested we needed. And some tried to argue that it wouldnt make a difference, that this wasnt football manager Mon the wide men Link to comment

Kilkito
On the subject of Stats, does anyone have the official % crowds are up this season, I'm in the process of arguing with a hun, and it would be very helpful Link to comment

Week argument that 40000 animals a week are missing so overall crowds are down but over the board most teams are up on last seasons average attendances and those that were not still had either celtic or local derbys to play. Kilkito
Thanks Stoney, I think I'll need to look at starting up and updating a spreadsheet for this. I'll tell the Hun to fuck off in the meantime Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
Tord31
wikipedia has a page for each aberdeen season so you can find all that stuff there. Our attendances last two years were embarassingly woeful so its not hard to be up. Link to comment
Stoney
Another argument that cropped up was teams giving free tickets. They dont understand thats not the point, the point is getting more people through the door. Tomorrow will be a good indicator of how far we have come. Games like this last season were in the sub 7000 mark. Link to comment
Tord31
Huns are giving away 10,000-15,000 tickets every league match apparently. Whether true or not I think the LOL is the fact sevco have better attendances than Celtic and Rangers Link to comment

I did some quick sums and got something similar, I take it last seasons figure excludes the Huns game, as I got 12% if it was included, first 8 v first 8 matches. E-P-K
If you do the first 9 home games from last season, then exclude Rangers, the average last season was 9372. Of the first 8 games including Rangers is, 10124. Link to comment

Foster14
I am surprised that no-one has pointed out that we've not actually got 15 points yet on the road this season. My maths for 4 wins and 2 draws yesterday was a bit erratic. We also won 3 away games last year, so we only have 1 more win than last season so far. To be honest, that first post was a fair load of shite. Fit a fanny! Link to comment
