sheepiekev
It wasn't an answer. I specifically avoided answering it. I did this because the question was so incredibly stupid. You have no idea how personal guarantees work and you are clueless as to Milne's shareholding and influence at AFC plc. You are therefore not worth engaging with, being so incredibly fucking stupid. oh dear what a "moronic" answer 1 Link to comment
GK55
The whole club is fucked from the top down. Until Milne gets to fuck, we're fucked. How difficult is this to understand? And has been for a very long time! Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I think (from all he's said & done in his short time here) Yule is the second last person at the club (behind MachineGinn) to be getting the finger pointed at him & blamed for our poor season (& yes I do class this season so far overall) Link to comment

This explains some of the stick Clangers gets also then. We have raised expectations in hoping he could become a competent keeper & the opposite happens Link to comment
Redmist1903
From what i hear Yule has made many changes within the club and is the first driving force the club had in many years. Not one of those willing to accept 6th and a semi final as some kind of success. Time will tell if he is pissing into the wind though. What kind of changes have you heard about him making at the club K9? I ask because I'm genuinely interested. There seems to be a lot of folk saying that on here yet I have never actually heard of him doing anything. I might have been away and missed what he's done right enough. Link to comment

Redmist1903
hes came in and changed a lot in an incredibly short period of time. Can you tell me any of the changes he has made that you mention please? Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Can you tell me some of the things he's done? Since his arrival he's spread positivity & that alone is a great achievement considering how dire & depressing the club has gotten. He has a very optimistic view of the club & where it's headed & you (well I do anyway) genuinely believe him when he says he's going to get us back on the up. Hell the fact that he rubbished the top six aim is a breath of fresh air compared to what we've become accustomed to & he seems to have more of a fans view & passion for the team. Did he not also put in a load of his own money? (this I'm not sure on). Point is he is far from being the person that should be getting stick the now. He is one of the good ones (so far at least) & until he fails or brings about another decline in the clubs fortunes since his arrival, then he has a free pass from me at least Wish we had more like him (or at least with his attitude) at the club. Now can you please tell me what you think he's done to deserve the stick being aimed at him? Link to comment
Aberdeen_Fan
Hopefully he is giving Broon his p-45 as we speak. Broon did what he came to do.... Keep us up. Now we need to move on. Need a new manager! Link to comment
Redmist1903
Now can you please tell me what you think he's done to deserve the stick being aimed at him? I don't think he deserves any stick and I certainly wasn't giving him any. I just asked a genuine question as a few folk on this thread have said he has made changes at the club and has achieved a fair bit in his time here, I was just wondering what exactly he had done. Your fairly lengthy reply basically says that he has said some positive things and he may or may not have put some money in. Talk is cheap. You haven't mentioned the changes he has supposedly made to improve the club. Link to comment
Ke1t
Brown's major impact was getting rid of the deadwood. That was slightly mitigated by handing Langfield a new contract and re-signing Chris Clark. But, in general, he identified the wasters and ejected them as soon as he could. For that I would keep Brown in an advisory/scouting role when the new manager is brought in. Link to comment

But I didn't actually say he had made changes at the club All I said is that he's brought a much more positive attitude & spin to the club & it's a more believable one than any that have come in in the past really & this can only be a good thing.Folk are trying to defend him because he certainly doesn't deserve the stick the now, it may be though that they are being slightly over generous to him without backing it up with facts but all the same he still deserves time to make the improvements he's hoping to make. We shouldn't even be speaking about him in the respect that this thread was intended is my point. Link to comment
RUL
Is George Yule gettiing a salary? I note from the statement that he took half of Fraser's role, surely this is reflected in Fraser's salary? Link to comment

It was a typo, it was actually half of Frasers roll, Duncan wasnae hungry enough for a whole rowie that day. Link to comment

barassie_afc
Interesting replies to this, admittedly it was a partial rant and I was unable to fully articulate the post as was in airport. Rationale for this is we have had countless faceless suits brought onto the board to bring "business acumen" etc and move the club forward. We have a CEO draining Link to comment
tommo1903
Yes, I'm 20. How does that compromise my view on whether or not the vice chairman is doing his job properly and whether or not an 18 year old made the right career choice? Because you are a fanny. 1 Link to comment
