Tsfm Proposal

Recommended Posts

Apologies if this has been discussed already elsewhere.

The TSFM Blog have worked together over the last weeks to draft the following proposal that they intend to send to Supporters Groups of all clubs for consideration. I thought I'd copy it up here for people to see and also note that it has been picked up by Alex Thomson in his latest blog.

The same thing essentially, but good to see AT pick it up and give it some exposure:

Full text of the draft "proposal":

DRAFT Proposal for Representative Supporter Groups e.g. Trusts or Associations to send to their club to convey to the SFA/SPL/SFL Boards.

We [insert Association/Trust name here] and in association with fans

It says the SFA should be accountable for decisions taken and that those decisions taken should be transparent and taken in earnest for the good of Scottish football as a whole rather than one or two of it's constituent members.

In otherwords, stop being such a bunch of biased, secretive cunts, immediately.

This gets my goat. Why not get tattoos on your foreheads celebrating your inability to read? I have no attention span and I'm proud of it. I'm thick, whatever fits.

Do you cunts ever read books?

Books are interesting...some worthless petition "V" has cut and pasted off some misguided idiot who thinks he can make a difference's site is not...we indulge "V" as he's a good lad but the name of the site is "AFC Chat"...i.e. chat and banter...If I see anything longer than 6-7 lines (unless it's Ke1t who is funny) I don't really bother either.

To be fair V's posts are normally Rangers related so I've stopped reading them as well. I'm over the whole Rangers thing now and have no interest in them or their demise anymore.

It's a serious proposal ffs.

But all we get is 'I can't be arsed reading that'.

This sums up the Scottish mentality, football or otherwise.

i.e. we have the league we deserve, dominated by neanderthals, whose only interest is scratching their arse, mixed in with a bit of alcohol and violence.

I'm not sure what you mean by that Redstar. Are you suggesting he is a Kafolic?

I believe V is 100% dons fan through and through, he's just got an unhealthy obsession with Rangers.

Hmmm...I'm not sure...I hope he is a Dandy but he does bang on about the hun "overly"...kind of like a tim who has a soft spot for AFC...who knows.

We [insert Association/Trust name here] and in association with fans' groups of other clubs, ask [insert Club name here] to convey the following to the Scottish Football Association, SPL and SFL on our behalf.

1 We believe that the commercial viability of Scottish football at the professional level depends absolutely on the belief by supporters that sporting integrity is at the heart of all competition, and that those governing them and the rules by which they exercise governance, must hold sporting integrity as paramount above ALL other concerns. This belief can be summed up in the one word "trust" Without trust in those responsible for governing Scottish Football, commercial viability will suffer, to eventual ruin of our game.

2 There is a perception (accompanied by some dismay and anger) among football supporters throughout Scotland that those who were charged with upholding the rules of the SFA and SPL/SFL, only did so partially

For people wanting a summary fair enough, but if you can't be arsed reading it maybe just ignore - I'm certainly not going to bother my arse summarising it for you.

I think "V" may kick with the left...what do you reckon Redmist :sherlock:

Only a fool or a fisherman would suggest religion is relevant in this forum. Which are you?

Tbh if I use your logic it would seem to suggest you hate Craig Brown more than you love Afc. So were you abused by fat old men when you were a kid?

I've definitely got a few unhealthy obsessions, for sure.

I wonder how many out of my last say 20 posts are "about" Rangers.

Truth is most of the rest of the shite you lads post on this forum is boring as feck anyway.

My concern is what mandate do they have? When they say we want change, who are we? Folk who go to games? SKY/ESPN Tarts? Folk who don't go to games? Who are we?

The draft is being sent to supporters clubs and asking if they can seek a mandate from their members. I'm not saying it will get that or that people will care enough to bother trying to resolve some of our issues.

I think the idea is to seek input from all major supporters groups, perhaps redraft it then ask all supporters groups to "sign" and present to their clubs etc etc.

FFS it takes all of 5 minutes to read!

Good to see something like this happening. Hope it galvanises more support because its numbers that count. Pressure has to be onto our fitba authorities or its going to be the same same old shit for years to come.

I've barely had a spare 5 minutes all day, I would rather someone gave a summary that took 20 seconds to read then use up all of my 5 spare minutes reading which is probably the same old shite that the fitba authorities will just ignore anyway.
