Excluding Semis and Finals.

Dundee 2-3 Aberdeen, third round replay 03/04. Got chucked out at 1-1 and watched Aberdeen bang in the last two goals in a hun pub

Was thrown out of there for over celebrating

Motherwell 1-2 Aberdeen, 1/4 final 11/12. Carnage. Great bounce for the goals and pen save and an almighty pre-match piss up at the Bullfrog pub. Superb day out and I ended up on the telly again.

2000 - Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

Belabed with a beauty of a ball down the line (right in front of where we were) for Dow whose cross eventually finds Jess at the back post. He takes a touch and buries it, 6000 Dandies go wild. Vividly remember loads of folk giving Kevin Gallacher the vickys (he was in the temporary TV studio in the corner between shed and fair play stand) which made it all the sweeter.

2006 - Dundee United 2-3 Aberdeen

Two down at half time, the JMG murmurs were very much beginning. Second half, Derek Stillie shites himself in front of the shed as two from Crawford get us level before Nicholson slides in the winner, cue absolutely mental bounce. Was meant to get train back, but ended up on a supporters bus, stopped for a few pints in Stonehaven on way up road. Brilliant day.

2008 - Celtic 0-1 Aberdeen

Watched the initial tie in a bar in Glasgow, and got piled on by tims when the cunts equalised. Felt like a defeat, and had pretty much given up. Nevertheless, assembled a squad of about five or six of us to go to Parkhead replay. One of Mackie's greatest moments, pouncing to score the winner with our only chance of the night. Superb bounce for goal and full time. Walked all the way back to Queen Street singing Dons songs, thinking this was our year.....

Aberdeen 4 Rangers 1 - 1982

They scored first then McLeish curled a wee beauty in from the edge of the box. Should have won in regulation time but went to extra time when we put three past them. Watching the huns streaming out of Hampden before the end was one of lifes joys and a vision that can never be taken away.

:lolrangers:

edit - didn't see Karls comments at the top till after I'd posted - but it was still an affa fine moment

1983. Arriving in Glasgow as ECWCW was rather special.

1984. Arriving in Glasgow expecting to beat an established Celtic team (huns at the time were chronic). Rather nice.

OK so we're not allowed finals and semis. I don't fucking care ECWCW!

I also have a vague recollection of Hearts at Pittodrie 1990 the day we won the grand slam at the Rugby. Attending Pittodrie in full leg plaster. That's devotion for you!

I had completely forgotten about that one. Absolute craziness in the Shed that day, the bounce was so mental it nearly carried me to Arbroath.

The 1-0 away win against Celtic in 2008 is probably mine. Absolutely convinced we'd blown it in the first game when Jan Vinegar of Hasselbaink equalised in the 98th minute, and then Mackie goes and sweeps in a peach of a goal at Celtic Park. Not too many dandies down for that game, but for those of us who were it was a pretty special night. The only problem is that it set-up a semi-final against Queen of the Bastard South... and we all know how that worked out.

I was at that one also. Only time I've seen us win at celtic park... But it just makes me think of the semi final!! I think the fact we won this tie makes the QOTS thing even worse

Celtic in 86 I think we went 2-0 down at half time but finished 2-2, I positive Paul Wright smacked the post late on, went to a 3rd game at Dens and I got to go down to that, cant mind nothing really apart from getting beat, was only a kid.

Beaten Hearts at home in 1990 was a brillant performance, absoulety destroyed them just checked that team.

Snelders, McKImmie, Cunt, Grant, Mcleish, Irvine, Nicholas, Bett, Mason, Connor, Gillhaus

Imagine having just half the quality in our side just now, every single one of us would have been praying to get a trip to the Ibroxo Arena last round, as that team would have battered them bastards so hard it would take them 20 years to recover.

That Hearts game was superb and to top it off at full time it was announced that Scotland had just beaten England at Murrayfield to win the Grand Slam

If I recall correctly, the original game.was played on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon. The pitch was absolutely pure white with frost. I think it may of been one of the last games that Alan McInally played for them, and he scored too. Wasn't at the first replay but we went out to a Brian McClair goal at Dens in the second replay, played in equally freezing temperatures with a howlin' gale and pissing rain thrown in also.

I was at this match as a very young lad and can remember it being a cracker. Think it was a quarter final, hot sunny day, Pittodrie packed, big Hearts support and we pumped them. Gillhaus and Nicholas were unplayable.

96 quarter final.

Aberdeen 2 Airdrie 1

Airdrie took the lead, some player who's name I forget but he was good for them. Dandies equalise... Heading for the exit from the South with my dad thinking it's over as it heads towards the 90th minute.

Booth with the cross as a young Roberto peers over people from the back of the South.... Who's there to lash the ball home past the tache keeper, John Martin?

The million pound man, Paul Bernard. I'll never forget that game for some reason.

Team that day:

ABERDEEN: Watt, Grant, Woodthorpe, Bernard, Irvine, Smith, Miller, Windass, Booth, Dodds, Glass. Subs: Shearer, Robertson. GK: Snelders.

Airdrie scorer was Paul bonar absolute screamer

That the one where the fuckers were diving and cheating left right and centre? Fantastic sense of justice at the end of that game, loved it.

Arboath away, 86. It was the first away game I was allowed to attend without a parent. Joe Miller scored the only goal in a dreadful game, but what was going on in and around the ground was what made it memorable, and a bit of an eye opener.

That day was brilliant, people were just going over the fence into their end after they started throwing stuff, was a weird place for all that to be going on, the pubs before and after were some atmosphere too.

Quarter Final Replay at Pittodrie v Hibs in 1967.

Memorable not only for the 3-0 scorline, 2 for Winchester and 1 for Storrie, but for the record midweek crowd of 44,000.

Folk on the Merkland stand roof and up the floodlights. Amazing crowd.

I also seem to remember that a crush barrier collapsed and folk were being surfed over the crowd down to the track side for treatment.

The first game at Easter Road was also played in front of 37,000 and Jinky Smith equalised with 4 minutes to go.

That year we lost in the final to European Champions.
