Craig Brown's Style

Recommended Posts

It was.

Were Ross County any better?

Two piss poor teams if you ask me

They were.

Two piss poor teams is on the money, however one of those teams had more possession, and left with three points, so one team was less piss poor than the other.

There are games that are screaming out for all out attack. Where you just tear into the other team and never give them a second's peace on the ball. Tonight was that night.

Two previous managers could have been guaranteed to play this match like it was an away game against Celtic... Porterfield and Miller. Brown is firmly in that mould of being more concerned about what might happen if we attack 'too much' than about the benefits of actually having a go in front of your own fans.

Absolutely zero ambition to win that game.

At home.

To Ross County.

I genuinely feel that Craig Brown just doesn't know what to do anymore.

His post match interview summed that up for me when he claimed the players perhaps try too hard to please the fans. Utter bullshit, and he knows it.

He knows himself that his time is up in the summer, in fact he effectively suggested it in the pre-match interview on ESPN.

What is the point of this thread. It has no purpose.

Wow... I'd have thought it was self explanatory to anyone with a Primary School level of reading comprehension.

"Craig Brown's Style"

"It's like watching a Porterfield or Alex Miller team."

"9th place beckons."

I'm not sure what part of that tripped you up or confused you, but I genuinely can't make it any clearer without drawing a picture.

Should I draw a picture?

I will if there's any chance it'll help your level of comprehension regarding the point of this thread.

EDIT: fuck it... I'm going to go ahead and draw a picture. Gimme a minute here.

Enough, resign ye auld cunt. Totally agree with Kelt, that was Porterfield all over again, in fact has been the last three home games in a row. And Porterfield was the one who drove me away from Pittodrie until my kids were old enough to start going.

I wont be back this season now, finishing bottom half when a team as shite as Ross County could finish second says it all about Broon's "style". Team selection was a disgrace, formation a disgrace, giving McManus 10 minutes a disgrace. Just a fucking disgrace.

To stubbornly persist with the same old tired players in the same formation despite no glimpses of it ever working; instead of making tactical changes like Lomas and Adams which changed the course of the game in their favour?

To instruct the keeper to punt inaccurate balls up to 2 x 5'9" attackers who lose the aerial battle 9/10?

To take every player back to defend corners?

To just roll over and accept refereeing decisions that screw us over?

Feel free to add to the list...

I drew a picture for us all to reference.

I'm a good cunt like that.

Why do you draw your circles anti clockwise?

After 16 league games at home now this season. We have gotten exactly what we should have expected from Craig Broon.

half of them draws (8) & 4 wins & 4 losses

It fits perfectly with his average over his managerial career & his style of play.

He was never going to change & we should have realised this because you really cannot teach the auld fucker new tricks.

Get rid now is the only wise option.

Yule make it happen.
