Well after the mixed bag that was "Different Gear, Still Speeding" (which I mostly enjoyed bar a couple of shite songs), Beady Eye will release their new album in June this year. They also have their new single lined up to be played on the 15th of April on Zane Lowe's show (I think).

This was leaked tonight, not sure if it's the song that will be played on the 15th or not.

I quite like the sound of it myself, sounds more promising than the initial releases from the first album.

I liked the first album, but I would prob like anything Liam and/or Noel released. Will give this a listen later. Hopefully they will tour the new album in June.

Was a post on twitter/facebook or something over the weekend with "Glasgow, Manchester, London" written on it so pretty sure they'll play 3 'launch' gigs in June before the festivals.

Reckon will be Barras, Apollo and Brixton - sure thats where they played to launch the last album.

Was their very first gigs not the 2 dates at the Barrowlands? Sure the CE gig was after that.

I saw them at the Barras, although not for long, I was chucked out 2 songs in when I went for a fag becuase I staggered about a bit, wont happen again as I still can't handle my beer, but I don't smoke anymore

Think I was at the 2nd Barras gig, was really good. Remember Miles Kane supporting as well who was superb.

 

Also saw beady Eye in Madrid on that tour, was a superb trip - met Gem, Andy Bell and the drummer boy in the afternoon. Shame Liam wasn't about though

Dave Sitek. Produced alot of good albums the last few years and also played in TV on the Radio, who were quality. Surprised he wanted to work with Beady Eye.

The first gig was at the Barras - then a couple of weeks later at the Corn Exchange. Both excellent gigs.

Well the new single on the 15th was just bullshit made up by the NME, however Zane Lowe said tonight he would be playing the new single on the 29th of April.
