Tommy
I see that training is now at Albyn school sport's ground at Milltimber.Assume this is until they get their own place in 2025. Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted April 16, 2013 Site Sponsor Share Posted April 16, 2013 Watched some of the video AVC are preparing for us for the dinner. Players running along the beach, getting fit. Willie Miller, Gordon Strachan, Mark McGhee et al. I wonder how they got on with their careers? Albyn is certainly a lot better than what we have at the minute. I sent an email to the club yesterday asking that Jamie train on the beach at high tide but I've had no response. 4 Link to comment

Guest
Not sure what Albyn pitches give us that Balgownie doesn't? Unless we've signed Graham Rix as Head Coach and Craig Thomson as defender. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Well MT has always had an attention seeking obsession on here (& I'm guessing in life in general) which is quite sad but I always kind of found it mildly amusing in a sympathetic kind of way, so I didn't block him in the past but the last straw is now his (even for Millertime) really pathetic (look at me) childish obsession with insisting on a continued misuse of the quote function. & it really is childish & pathetic. He is not breaking any rules by doing it (but rules should be changed imo) but I'm just sick fed up of having to scroll up to read his shite, only to confirm that yet again it is indeed shite AGAIN.So for those reasons I am finally going to block the attention seeking little boy, so I do not have to over use my poor little mouse & arrow keys. Blocked! (once I figure out how) BOOM! 1 2 Link to comment

Although nothing wrong with running on a beach its good for endurance. Players need better pitches to play on. Good to see McInnes wants better facilities but in this day and age AFC should have had their own facilities years ago, not training a bit here and a bit there around the city. 1 Link to comment
Rubinho Escocia
Yep, we should have had our own facilities ages ago, it's a shame to have all our debt with so little to show for it. That said beach training hasn't hurt in the past and it seems to still work in Brazil... Link to comment
King Street Loon
So that's it.The training facility Yule alluded too? So, no new stadium and no news on a new training facility. Fuckkinbooo Link to comment
Tommy
KSL, I understand this is only temporary until agreement reached with joint venture with RGU at Garthdee. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
There will be clashes with the sixth year Albyn girls on their games days, plunge baths and showers will have to be shared. In other news, every 18 year old player in Britain is looking for a contract at Aberdeen. Link to comment

Fuckkinbooo Christ on a bike, every time on here, someone goes off the deep end without knowing shit. McInnes is the one who demanded a change to training facilities in the short term, do you think that this means Yule has gone "fuck it, Albyn will dae fine" ? KSL, I understand this is only temporary until agreement reached with joint venture with RGU at Garthdee. This is correct, agreement is reached, it's just down to getting it built now. Be up and running by end of next season. 1 1 Link to comment
ollie1903
They were training at Balgownie yesterday They were indeed. Went to watch the under 12's and saw a wee bit of them training. My mate took a helium balloon of a horse with him, taken home the parents association fundraiser on Friday night, which he was going to give to one of the 12's wee sister. McInnes asked if he could have it instead, so he can put it on the bench tomorrow in place of Fallon. Link to comment
The Boofon
Horses, under12's sister? Sounds like grooming to me. Sicko. Link to comment

Dandyesque
I agree with Kelt that anything less than 7th is no real improvement and as much as I hate to say it - top 6 is a minimum expectation. McInnes has been left a lot more to work with than McGhee or Brown but would appear to be adding in the right areas and talking a good game so far - it's good to not hear him talk about top 6, even if that would be a minimum expectation if you understand me. ChutneyLove
The new stadium will have adjoining training facilities. Should all work out fine for our assault on the World Super League for the bicentenary. 1 Link to comment
Ke1t
Personally I'm excited to see the retractable roof on the new stadium, stay at the in-stadium hotel, and do a few laps of the Olympic swimming pool. Of course I'm going to have to live another 4000 years in order to see that, so maybe I should invest in a cryogenic chamber. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUGE-Vacuum-Cryogenic-Environmental-Chamber-17ft-long-60-inch-nopl-INV-11518-/321145558175?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ac5c4549f Link to comment
