I see that training is now at Albyn school sport's ground at Milltimber.

Assume this is until they get their own place in 2025.

Well MT has always had an attention seeking obsession on here (& I'm guessing in life in general) which is quite sad but I always kind of found it mildly amusing in a sympathetic kind of way, so I didn't block him in the past but the last straw is now his (even for Millertime) really pathetic (look at me) childish obsession with insisting on a continued misuse of the quote function. & it really is childish & pathetic.

 

He is not breaking any rules by doing it (but rules should be changed imo) but I'm just sick fed up of having to scroll up to read his shite, only to confirm that yet again it is indeed shite AGAIN.

Although nothing wrong with running on a beach its good for endurance. Players need better pitches to play on.

 

Good to see McInnes wants better facilities but in this day and age AFC should have had their own facilities years ago, not training a bit here and a bit there around the city.

Yep, we should have had our own facilities ages ago, it's a shame to have all our debt with so little to show for it. That said beach training hasn't hurt in the past and it seems to still work in Brazil...

This is correct, agreement is reached, it's just down to getting it built now. Be up and running by end of next season.

They were indeed. Went to watch the under 12's and saw a wee bit of them training. My mate took a helium balloon of a horse with him, taken home the parents association fundraiser on Friday night, which he was going to give to one of the 12's wee sister. McInnes asked if he could have it instead, so he can put it on the bench tomorrow in place of Fallon.

My mate took a helium balloon of a horse with him, taken home the parents association fundraiser on Friday night, which he was going to give to one of the 12's wee sister. McInnes asked if he could have it instead, so he can put it on the bench tomorrow in place of Fallon.

I would expect that announcement, if it happens, to be along the lines of... "Yeah, there isn't going to be a training facility"

I agree with Kelt that anything less than 7th is no real improvement and as much as I hate to say it - top 6 is a minimum expectation.

 

McInnes has been left a lot more to work with than McGhee or Brown but would appear to be adding in the right areas and talking a good game so far - it's good to not hear him talk about top 6, even if that would be a minimum expectation if you understand me.

The new stadium will have adjoining training facilities. Should all work out fine for our assault on the World Super League for the bicentenary.

Personally I'm excited to see the retractable roof on the new stadium, stay at the in-stadium hotel, and do a few laps of the Olympic swimming pool.

 

Of course I'm going to have to live another 4000 years in order to see that, so maybe I should invest in a cryogenic chamber.
