StandFree1982
We've had some great strikers over the last 30 year from Harper through to the legend that is Niall McGinn, but who, out of these two stand out strikers in the past 5 years, would you rather have in your starting 11. I'm going with Darren Mackie. He was quick...and erm, he tried (for a few years) and....he scored a few crucial goals. Worth his weight in pennies. Link to comment
Dynamo
Mack attack. Hardly an endorsement however, given how utterly pish Fallon is. He'd be better playing in Spain where it's warm most of the year. Link to comment

Kilkito
I'd go without. I used to have a real soft spot for Mackie in the early days, and as he confirmed over and over again that he was pish, and wasn't going to get any better, I still liked him due to his work ethic, and always thought he was worth having on the park for his pace. By the end he stopped trying, seemed to unlearn anything he'd learned, and lost all his pace, I started to hate the useless shite! As for Fallon, he truly is a sholking big useless lump of shite as a striker, how he has made a living from playing football is truly staggering! Link to comment

dervish
Mackie, he's still doing it! Stand out indeed. Phoenix FC was saddled early in the season with a string of injuries that limited playing time. Standout forward Darren Mackie, who has played just 29 minutes in one appearance this season, remains questionable as he recovers from a groin injury. Beyond that, the Wolves are at close to full-strength with a roster of healthy players, including midfielder Jose Ramos. http://www.soccernation.com/phoenix-fc-vs-pittsburgh-cms-4248 Link to comment
