Stoneybloke
Sad news. He was my hero in my early days at Pittodrie. I believe he started off as a schoolboy international centre half (no.5 in the old days), then moved to centre forward (no.9), where he played most of his games for the Dons. Very rumbustious, old style centre forward. Totally committed to the cause, a true Don. Didn't fit in with Turnbull's plans and went to Hearts, where he became a great favourite as well. RIP Ernie. Also from a fellow Torry loon. 1 Link to comment
