Geoff_Tipps
Right choice? Probably not a popular choice with a lot of Man U fans, but I think its a great appointment. I hope he succeeds as I know fine well so many will be hoping he fails. Cut from the same cloth as Fergie and what he has done at Everton with little money is very impressive and will be highlighted when Everton now go backwards. Link to comment

King Street Loon
If the players give Moyes the same commitment as they gave Fergie, then he should do fine. Needs a midfielder and to get Rooney's petted lip sorted out though. Link to comment
cow
Despite the clamour to praise everything Moyes has ever done, I wouldn't want him if I was a Man Utd fan (I'm not). Everton are unbelievably boring to watch, one of the very worst in the EPL along with Stoke, West Brom and Sunderland. Moyes, like AF is an old school manager. He will also be shown up at European level. Cow. Link to comment

tightbreeks
i can't remember when he played for smelltic, probably because I was a wee cheel. the main reason is I can't remember needing him for my Panini! Link to comment

I like Man U and moyes was far and away my first choice. He will succeed, I see no reason why he won't. Link to comment
tightbreeks
fergie got out at the right time, i'm watching them try against Swansea and it's not easy for them. With Rooney looking like he's away, Moyes pretty much needs to strengthen every area of the pitch this summer! Otherwise Chelsea and Man City will be fighting it out next season! The goalkeeper looks like a class act these days, but there are big question marks over every other department. In saying that, I think his influence will be important with the likes of Evans, Rafael and Smalling. I expect those players to really kick on defensively under Moyes, in the same manner as Lescott and Jagielka. Everton usually play with plenty of width and that could also be good news for guys like Nani and Valencia, who've lost there way a bit recently. I actually think Moyes will get a fair wedge of cash this summer and it'll be interesting to see how he re-invests it. Link to comment
