King Street Loon
Heard this morning that the pitch is getting ripped up in the close season and new base of some such being laid and then turf in top. Its coming out of Milnes pocket and not AFC's apparently. Link to comment

Dynamo
Least Milne is paying for it so we won't have to make any cuts from the playing budget. 1 Link to comment
sheepiekev
Least Milne is paying for it so we won't have to make any cuts from the playing budget. Aye, Ross County are allegedly spending £400k on a new pitch in the summer. Link to comment
tightbreeks
we should go for an artificial pitch, coz they are well good now. it's been the case now for ages that the current set up doesn't work, and unless we can use the fancy uv light set up, most od the epl teams have, then ditch the pitch. plus it'll save loads of cash. Pudgie
Is it not a hell of a lot more money for an artificial pitch. We'd need to dig this one up twice more max surely! The puns were the best thing in this thread. Fuck all you can really say about a new pitch. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
What about the worms? You can't have an artificial pitch - where would the worms go? Link to comment

Its coming out of Milnes pocket and not AFC's apparently.Could be our best purchase in years !Our pitch is a disgrace every season and hampers our ability to play decent passing football.Better pitch = better football = more goals and higher crowds, more money etc.All good Link to comment

RUL
Bit like when Milne paid JC out of his own pocket....which was then in the club accounts. 1 Link to comment
