Foster14
Good stuff for Ryan Jack. Quite an experimental squad by the looks of it (well from midfield forwards). Based on his last outing for a Scotland team though, I hope he doesn't pick up any kind of injury that puts him out for pre-season/start of next season. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Decent squad. Can't even be arsed talking about Lee Wallace being called up though. Hope Russell Martin gets a game in the middle of defense. Always looks decent there in the Premiership and we don't exactly have much better options Link to comment
StandFree1982
Well Done Ryan!! He is probably the best and most underrated of the youth players we've brought through in recent years. Link to comment

Brilliant for Ryan Jack and terrific timing for Aberdeen (unless he gets injured). Aberdeen players getting selected for international duty will surely make us a more attractive proposition to any potential new signing. Fair bit of talent in the midfield and forward areas. Initial thoughts, going away to Croatia, it'd line up the midfield and forwards like so: -----------------------Griffiths----------------------------------------Morrison--------------------------Mackay-Steven Bridcutt Brown Snodgrass No fucking clue what I'd do with defence though! Still looks dreadful! Link to comment
Henry
Good to see Strachan planning for the future by calling up 32 year old Gordon Greer for the first time. 2 Link to comment
scoutman70
Good to see Strachan planning for the future by calling up 32 year old Gordon Greer for the first time. That must come from Mcghee, who coincidentally lives in Brighton. Link to comment
rossafc92
Fail to understand why Mark Reynolds, ever present in the second best defence in the SPL this season, doesn't get a call-up, whilst the likes of Andy Webster and Gordon Greer do. Anyway, good news regarding Ryan Jack, and nice to see the likes of Armstrong, Conway and Griffiths in the squad too. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Hope Ryan Jack gets it right up Ryan Fraser and Fraser Fyvie on his call up!! Good point on the above. Reynolds isn't great but is definitely better than Webster. Also good to see the self proclaimed SPL Player of the season Kris Commons not getting a call up!!!! Link to comment
The Bull
Delighted for Jack. This clearly shows the benefit of playing first team SPL football against sitting on the bench / in the stands in the EPL. He may not get a run out but I fully expect him to benefit from the experience and hopefully he will go on to make his debut and win a number of caps. He's impressed me no end since he came into the side. Very comfortable on the ball and I think we will see more of him in the middle of the park under the new regime. He's application to the cause puts the likes of Hughes to shame. Good point on Reynolds, he certainly has the pace which Scotland lack at centre half. With the exception of Greer, it is encouraging to see that Strachan is blooding some younger players...right thing to do since this qualifying campaign is all but over. 1 Link to comment
buchanskii
Good to see Strachan planning for the future by calling up 32 year old Gordon Greer for the first time. I don't think he's quite ready to make the step up yet. Perhaps Strachan thinks it's a good idea to include him in the squad just so he knows what to expect when he finally comes of age. Nice one Jacko So his future is definitely in CM? Hope he gets a cap so we can use that to add a few hundred thousand to his valuation! Link to comment
OddJob
That's a very young midfield & forward line we have there. Great to see that, bodes well for the future as long as these guys are playing regularly. Agree on Reynolds, thought he should have got a chance Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
McGregor Hutton Martin Caldwell Whittacker Snodgrass Morrison Brown Mackay-Steven MaloneyGriffiths We'll only lose 3-0 with this Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Clangers overlooked again... Aye. How the fuck does this happen? He's got the most clean sheets behind only Forster in the SPL & the only goals he actually conceded were penalties I blame McGhee. He just doesn't like him I think Link to comment
muttonhumper
Very pleased for Jack. Also good to know that McInnes sees him as a midfielder and intends to build the team around him. Future AFC captain. Link to comment
ollie1903
I wonder if Razor still thinks he's shite. I guess we'll never know. Link to comment

Dynamo
Well done to Jack. I don't think Reynolds really merits a call. Presume Lee Wallace has been outstanding in Division 3 has he? Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Tokley could probably get into that defence if he asked Link to comment
