dervish
I've no idea if pet shops don't have then you'd need to get inspector poirot on the case. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
If you are lucky enough to find a pet shop that sells them I'd imagine it will not be going cheep Link to comment

Pash
There is a place down by the beach that sells budgies and random birds. I will find out tomorrow from my bird, she is sleeping just now but she got her budgies from there. Link to comment

I found a weird finch thing a couple years back one night when walking at the beach, it was alive but looked fucked, was just sitting on the sand, thought it might have escaped from there so picked it up and took it in. They didn't want to know, said it wasn't there's. Link to comment
daytripping
Did you pull it's head off? I'm a peace loving animal lover mobby, I'd never do that. Link to comment
daytripping
Just chuck it in the bin then? I bought some bird seed and got my daughter to get a bottle of water from Asda, got back to the car to feed the little fella, poured the seed into a mound on the ground and put some water into the cap.....laid the fella gently down by the seed. It never even sniffed it and flew off, I'd been carrying the little cunt about for near an hour like a real life doctor doolittle, I'd have happily pulled the fuckers head off at that point. weapon
Cheers folks. I've tried pets at home, apparently they stopped selling birds a couple years back and don't reccommend breeders etc. Looking like a breeder might be the best bet rather than a pet shop Link to comment
weapon
The bird must be able to do this: Brilliant!! Link to comment

That is a cool name for a budgie Dayts. When I was little we had a budgie called Dylan, he used to sit on the hoover while my mum done the hoovering. He escaped one day though and the neighbours cat got him. Poor little fella. Link to comment

daytripping
It was yellow as well! I remember buying him a little ferris wheel where you filled the seats full off seed, he somehow got his head stuck in the middle of it between seats, it was a real life and death struggle to free him, thankfully I got him out and he lived to fly another day. That day will live with me forever. I went back to the pet shop and demanded the ferris wheels were pulled from the shelves, they were a death trap. Link to comment
