Tord31
Hope he negotiated a big signing on fee! They'll need more than cost cutting to sort them out but if Wilson is in to replace all of Barr, Grainger, Webster and Zaliukas its a start. Link to comment
sheepiekev
3 questions; - why are they in a position to sign players? - What agent would recommend their client signing for them? - What player in his right mind would go there given the problems that they've had paying wages (which this particular player has seen for himself) Unbelievable. When it goes tits up, no-one should have any sympathy for him. Link to comment
spamspamspam
3 questions; - why are they in a position to sign players? This is the only bit I care about. Club in crisis, no more than two months away from administration, millions upon millions of debt yet they are signing up ex Rangers and Liverpool players on 3 year deals. No idea how much he's getting but you can bet its no less that 3-4K now and no doubt it'll end up being 1K once the administrators turn up and tell all the players they are either sacked or wages cut. dervish
Very weird one. Only logic I can see if they signed him with the promise of high wages with a view to cashing in on a transfer fee? Even that doesn't really add up. "I am delighted to have my future sorted out," said the defender. Till when next week? Link to comment
BrianFaePerth
Pish group, Heart's are welcome to them. Maybe rereleasing Mary's Prayer can help their predicament Link to comment
Dynamo
Thought he looked a real good prospect when he played for the old huns at Pittodrie when he was 18 or so. Haven't seen him much since. Decent signing probably. Not a position we need to focus on just now though. Link to comment
Monkey
I imagine his thinking is that he needs 1st team football as almost disappeared during his spell at Liverpool, you have to assume he'll be 1st pick next season for Hearts and then when they go belly up he'll get a new deal somewhere else in January because he's been playing regularly. oilcat
He will end up back at The Hunnery in a cut price deal this time next year Link to comment
ChutneyLove
All I can remember him doing is fucking up for Scotland when he came on as a sub against the Czechs. Looked like he had potential before his move to Liverpool, but even then that was from his cosy spot with the huns. I think he's an average SPL standard defender. Hearts are welcome to him, wouldn't be happy if The Dons were spunking money on him. Link to comment

Much like has happened to Andy Considine numerous times Link to comment
ChutneyLove
Aye, you're maybe right. It was a Levein masterstroke. Still, I think that's the only time I've seen him since he left the huns - he was shite. I didn't even know he was on loan at Hearts, so he couldn't have stood out when they've played The Dons - neither particularly bad or good. Link to comment
sheepiekev
A lesson to young Scottish players heading south. The lesson being what though? He made a shit load of money for two years or whatever it was, trained with far superior players with better facilities, and has come back to where he was, a lot better off.You can hardly blame a player for wanting to go to Liverpool if they come in for you.
