Guest
Every time a we employ a new manager, the press (local) and the club themselves, roll out this pathetic catchphrase - "Red Revolution". There's certainly been nothing revolutionary about any of our last half dozen managers. Evolution perhaps, but I guess that doesn't sound quite as catchy. Any other completely lazy and irritating buzzwords that the press (mostly the Evening Express it must be said) use that bug the hell out of ya? I can think of "fan's favourite" (often used for a player who is slightly less boring or crap than anyone else in the team)"Brace" is another one... wtf? "Don's star player....' (hello, Lionel Messi is a star, Ronaldo is a star.... Chris Clark is NOT a star!! And of course, the old favourite.... "transfer window slams shut".... ahhhhhHh!! Link to comment
Richie Inferno
I long for the day when a Dons manager is handed a "war chest" 2 Link to comment
Monkey
You're forgetting the old classics normally used around the time of a manager change; "A New Don" , "Don of a New Era" and "Red Don". Link to comment
Dynamo
Usually a striker in the Friday paper vowing to "shoot/gun down" the opposition. usually an off form one at that. Derek Young used to be the main man. Link to comment
The Hulk
RED MIST DESCENDS OVER TWL Tinyweelad saw red today in a move sure to shock Dons fans almost everywhere. In a foul-mouthed rant over shooting down over-used cliches and poorly-moderated web chat forums, fan's favourite TWL went toe-to-toe with cult-hero The Boofon before deriding the place asa feckin mad housea comment that is sure to see him carpeted by the beaks at AFChat towers. It would appear that TWL is looking for a safe pair of hands to usher in the Don of a New Era on web chat forum moderation. For more on this story, don't pick up a copy of today's bumper edition of the EE. 4 Link to comment

Ke1t
It's all very well having a promotional campaign, but you don't start boasting about a 'Red Revolution' at the same time you're slashing the wage budget and reducing the quality of your product. Red Revolution! Now With 50% Less Of Everything! Suck That, Fuckbrains! The club, unfortunately, believes the fans to be thicker than shite. Link to comment

They ran a story in yesterday's paper, or perhaps the day before, and it was word for word what was in RedWeb and on RedTV. Just thought of another one they love to use..... "ace". Seen today's peace on Ryan Jack? "Jack played a pivotal role in Don's boss Derek McInnes' five games in charge where Aberdeen remained undefeated". Holy fcuk! Is that how we define success - remaining undefeated against bottom 6 pish? Link to comment
