slippers
Looking to get a decent tumble dryer for my new kitchen I'm putting in but seems that not may people make integrated ones. It has to be integrated and be a condenser instead of vented. The ones I have found are made my brands I have never heard of and are vented. They also have stupid vents on the bottom that means I would have to reduce the height of my plinth where the dryer goes. Anyone got any ideas or experienced the same problem? The only decent one I can find is Miele but costs £1300 which is a tad more than id like to pay for my first house, it would also mean buying a new door as its only half integrated when I have bought a door for a fully integrated dryer. daytripping
I have a condenser, it's great, not in the kitchen or integrated so I'm out but it never cost a lot. Why not just drill through and vent it, assuming it backs on to an outside wall. I only went condenser as it sits in a glass porch. Link to comment
slippers
Yeah I would prob take a vented one but I'm not happy with having to cut my plinth down . Ill probably have to buy a bigger door if i have to do that aswell. Its a red gloss kitchen aswell so I would be left with a wood finish where I had to cut down plinth instead of the gloss finish. I don't understand, you wouldn't need to cut your plinth with a vented. Link to comment
daytripping
And integrated are standard sizes, just put the door on it, sorted. Link to comment
slippers
They all have this even though they are vented! Link to comment
daytripping
Most plinths have a deeper recess than your pics are showing, you'd never see it. If it bugs you spray the vent gloss red or get a silver vent cover to go over it. Link to comment
daytripping
I know this is your first house and you want perfection but no one will notice, a vent in a plinth doesn't register. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Can you not just hang your washing out to dry?? Link to comment
