barassie_afc
maybe playing the kid in his best position , ie midfield , is the reason for him staying, good work del Link to comment

Mr Brightside
This is fantastic news for Aberdeen. Great young player, bags of potential and means he wont disappear for piss all money in a compensation deal!! Link to comment
Pash
Awesome news. Well done to everyone involved. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Incredible! Really pleased with this. Totally shocked about it - I thought he'd be the next to fuck off to England and never play again. Really hope he makes it and we make a bit of cash on him. Derek McInnes has done a great job off field so far. If we have a good season I might consider throwing away my dirty Jimmy Calderwood magazines that I tug over 2 Link to comment
AFCaketin
Delighted with this news. Optimism levels reaching an all time pre-pre-season high. COYR! Link to comment
The Bull
Great news. IMO our three best players (McGinn, Jack and Reynolds) are all tied into decent length contracts. Not sure whether they will all see them out but at least we'll get transfer fees if they don't! Jack must have his head screwed on. I'm sure he could have options down south but the kid obviosuly wants to play week in week out for his hometown club. Link to comment
Tommy
That's a big signing, great news. Can't wait until the season starts.COYR. Link to comment
Mr Brightside
Let's take the next step and make him vice captain Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Wonder if Ryan Fraser would have stayed if McInnes was in charge... Ah well... FUCK UM! Link to comment
muttonhumper
Excellent news. That's a guy sure to make a real name for himself. Level headed, and more interested in the development of his career than the lure of short term £££s down south. McInnes said he wanted to build the team around him not long after he came in.Plaudits to DM for doing as he says, and doing it quietly and effectively. COYR Link to comment

Mr Brightside
I don't know how mcinnes is pulling this off? In years gone by the likes of Reynolds, McGinn, Jack etc would have jumped ship at first opportunity..... he must talk the talk pretty dam good!!! Link to comment
diamondsr4ever
Maybe he's been on this forum and taken note of all the mistakes and basic neglect over the last few years. he has tied down our 2 best players on long term deals, superb...and has made 3 good signings, im happy at how he's going about his business, lets hope it translates onto the pitch Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Superb. Well done Aberdeen. Link to comment
Edinburgh_sheep
Really impressed with mcinnes so far. Getting our best players on decent deals, getting rid of the shite like Stephen Hun Hughes and has so far made good signings. Just need a left back and keeper and we have good reason to be optimistic about this season. COYR!!! Link to comment
King Street Loon
Very, very good news. He's an integral part of our midfield now and it should be built round him. He's a future captain as I beleive that thjis is Anderson's last season and Jack should be captain and not Considine. Link to comment
Tommy
Sky Sports News reported it as 'Ryan Jack signs contract extension until 2104. Haha.Aye the last time he signed a deal.Dafty. Link to comment
SkyeDon
Great news! Well done to him, it's really refreshing to see someone with a bit of sense and knowledge. Really liking what McInnes has done so far. Link to comment
Foster14
Glad to see he has signed on. Would be surprised to see him last here until 2016 if he continues as he has. Should hopefully get another season or two and a good fee. Hopefully he gets a few more call-ups to the Scotland squad to show other players coming through there should be no hurry to leave Aberdeen. OddJob
Aye McInnes and the club deserve a lot of credit for the way they have handled transfer and contracts so far. Long may it continue 1 Link to comment
paddy
Excellent. Well done AFC and Jack. Im glad Ryan hasnt following in the footsteps of Fyvie, Grimmer and Fraser and stayed with the club. Will no doubt get a big move in the coming years which will benefit him and the team. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Probably the best young player we've produced in a very long time. I'd have said Fraser if he stuck around and kept up his form, but Jack has been consistently very good in every position he gets played in. Great news and another thing that our manager has gotten right! I'm now very much looking forwards to next season. Link to comment
