Your Favourite Device / Piece Of Technology

My phone I don't particularly care for, but I do like my Galaxy Note. It plays movies, music, displays books, plays internet radio, is currently teaching me a bit of Spanish, lets me post shite on the internets, has a million handy apps and games, serves as an alarm clock, lets me store pictures on a removable micro SD, and (importantly) lets me remote access my Desktop from anywhere I might be.

I fucking love my Note, though I'm thinking about getting a 7" version of the Galaxy just for convenience.

What's your favourite bit of kit?

My robotic vacuum cleaner. Drives my cats crazy. I see a review on Amazon says it doesn't bother their cat. It scares the shit out of mine. It's utterly hopeless at the vacuuming but for shits and giggles, Mr Whiskers is the business.

My favourite piece of technology is probably my Macbook Air.

The latest in a long line of laptops and the only one that still makes me think "shit that's an excellent bit of gear" a year after getting it.

Also the only one not to have developed some niggly annoyance or started falling apart in that time.

Beautiful bit of gear.

Second favourite technology would be all wireless comms. Every last one of them.

No wires at home except between the phone line and the modem. I do not mourn the days of running cat5 around the house.

Driving to and from work with purchased music on iTunes that I don't download to my phone but stream to the phone via 3G and to my car stereo via bluetooth to my ears via the medium of air.

Wireless technology is just the best.
