i watched this a couple weeks ago. it's pretty good.

 

when i posted a comment with the video on my FB wall, my brother-in-law commented that he'd watched that back in school (mmm late 70s that would be) and remembered it well,

 

it's fascinating how quickly they learn to turn on and exclude each other, those that the day before had in fact been friends.

watched that the other week too. it beautifully shows how they can easily be manipulated by the suggestion of superiority or inferiority. thankfully most grow out of this manipulation.

After my fact finding mission to Monkey World, eh have found out monkeys are racist too. Capuchin monkeys group themselves by colour, brown or white. They want little to do with each other. What Monkey World are doing to confront this unacceptable racism, like maybe send them back to the lab or something, is unclear.
