'World's oldest calendar' discovered in Scottish field

Lunar calendar found at Crathes Castle.

So we can now add time to the long list of things the Scots gave the world.

I recall reading some time ago that the earliest land-based life was also discovered in the Northeast.

A land-based, oxygen-breathing millipede, existed 420 million years ago, and its fossil was dug up in Stonehaven a few years back.

So rather than us all being Africans, it turns out we're all Stonehavenians.

That should please a certain element on the board, if nothing else.
