DandyDon KD
Will probably get slated for this but oh well. Heard RUMOURS that Celtic and The Rangers Football Club ltd (cup or in our league in future) will be situated at the top of the Dick Donald stand. At first I thought that this would be a bad idea, for reasons such as the Huns and Tims spitting and dropping coins on us below. However then thinking about it would it be a bad idea? Singing from up there just goes right over the roof of the merkland stand, therefore not affecting their players in any way. When the players come out of the tunnel all the players see is a mass of green or blue this is a boost to the Huns/Tims. Another thing is is if they were to be put up there, then it would be all Aberdeen fans by the pitch side. All of these things or going to affect the performance from the teams on the pitch. There for I think that they should be put up there. What are your thoughts? 3 Link to comment

buchanskii
Plus fans in the RDS lower would end up being bombarded by cups of urine and other missiles by the scummy away supports. 1 Link to comment
ElginDandy
Surely it would be too small for celtic and sevco? It would be too big for most other teams away supports though. Link to comment

peahead
Having stood in the lower tier of the Broomlyn when we used to get over 2000 , the amount of pies , cups filled wie piss and coined and gobbed on, no Aberdeen fan in our house should have those disgusting Hun bast@rds above us, hope they stick to their word and boycott and never darken our doors again Link to comment
Redstar
Why not give the whole godforsaken stand to the away support... it was built by a cu*t that cares fu*k all about the club...why not try and fill it with other cu*ts who care fu*k all for AFC...I had the misfortune of having to sit there for the FC Twente game...what a dreadful place it is...awful view,no hot food and a black fella telling me it was no problem to have a cigarette at half time but I'd have to give him a tenner to get back in...never again...it's a soulless awful place...SS although run down is a much better place to be. Monkey
If you want to move the away fans anywhere it would be into the Merkland and move the "family section" to either the RDS or the south. Away fans could be kept in at the end if the police had any concerns, just as we used to be when we played against that now extinct team in Glasgow. I imagine when we move to our new stadium in 2047 the away fans will be housed behind a goal rather than along the sidelines directly behind an assistant referee. I seem to recall Brown making observations about the situation with away fans when he was manager. 1 Link to comment
Stoney
theres nothing wrong with the acoustics of the rdu this was something the ultras came up with when their attempts at creating an atmosphere failed Link to comment
