Sympathies for her son getting killed but it happens every day of the week to some poor bugger but how has she managed to twist that into a career?

 

She's just been made a peer and given a seat in the house of Lords and one day into the job is on tv complaining more black people get stopped by the police than whites, her constant bleating about it are in my opinion racist, would any person ever go on tv saying more black people should get stopped and to leave the whites alone? The House of Lords dont make laws, they sign them off once the House of Commons makes them.

The royal family dont make laws, they put their seal of approval on them off once the House of Commons has made them and the House of Lords has signed them off.

 

The Queen still has the right to vito any law, she could also if she chose to deny a newly elected PM from taking office. She may not exercise that right but she has it all the same. The royal family can have just as much influence on law as the House of Lords.

 

Both are outdated institutes that have no place in modern society. Both are sent out there to represent the country, both have been and can be fucking embarrassing and both need to fuck off to the history books where they belong.

 

You were the one that brought up racists being at the forefront of our society in the house of lords. If you have an issue with that then by default your position on the royal family has to be the same.

 

I'm no fan of the House of Lords, having a bunch of hand picked inbreeders, rich tossers and the occasional one for every man plucked from obscurity like this bint has been isnt my idea of how a democracy works. Interesting that folk can get upset about a black woman who has fought against race hate/knife crime gets a peerage while they probably couldn't give one solitary fuck about Alan Sugar et al getting in too.
