Being a sci fi lover I did watch it when it first came back on with Eccleston and I also watched when David Tennent took over.

 

Once the boy Matt got it I stopped watching, the other two doctors had appeal to everyone. Eccleston was dark, Tennent was switched on, quite funny and played it well.

 

I'll probably watch a couple of the new Capaldi ones just to see fit like but I really cant see how a guy that has played a charachter in the series already and a main part in Torchwood can then become the doctor.

 

I'd have preferred someone like Tim Roth but no matter who they have they'll never beat Tom Baker as the doctor.
