Robson injury blow rocks Aberdeen FC Midfielder Barry’s knee problem mars Fir Park triumph

DEREK McInnes today confirmed Aberdeen FC star midfielder Barry Robson will be sidelined “for a few weeks” by a knee injury.

The blow of losing Robson took some of the shine off the magnificent 3-1 SPFL win over Motherwell that left the 1,879 Aberdeen FC fans at Fir Park in raptures.

Robson missed the match because of the injury which he suffered in last weekend's 2-1 home win over Kilmarnock. The 34-year-old will be examined by a specialist on Wednesday and has no chance of facing champions Celtic at Pittodrie this weekend.

Pawlett filled in superbly well Yesterday but I'd have liked to have had Robson on against the tims.
