Mouse
Ignoring whether we win, lose or draw tomorrow, is anyone missing Brown's free flowing, attacking football that we witnessed last season? I know for one Redstar is deeply saddened 2 3 Link to comment

Redstar
Broon was brought in to stall AFC's progress in the wake of the hun implosion...He's a total hun...bringing back filth like Knox further underlines that...Mchun is also hun filth but not beyond redemption...he's a hun so will have self preservation in his DNA he must also realise that Grayskull is crumbling...I predict Mchun could be fu*king brilliant. 1 1 Link to comment

stirlingsheep
Like Tate and Zola? I was attempting sarcasm. (I thought the 133 and a half years comment would give that away) Either way, I can't imagine that he takes much from the club as a wage. He's non executive director anyway. TBH I don't hold much against Brown, he came in when McGhee's teams made us hark back to some of Pele's glory days, stabilised a poor team, and left McInnes a foundation that he's taken over and built a decent team on. Tord31
Brown signed AndersonReynoldsHayesMcGinn and took us from the worst defence in europe to a position whereby the next manager had the building blocks to give us the best defence in europe. He wasnt all bad. I certainly didnt realise that at the time though. Those 0-0's were more soul destroying than defeats 1 Link to comment

The sarcasm (lowest form of wit) wasn't lost...I just struggle to see what can possibly be gained from the continued association with a man who's contribution whilst manager is up there as the worst in AFC History... tup
Happy birthday to Craig Brown. He completely turned AFC around in just a few games after the debacle of McGhee. Link to comment
Bamber
Craig Brown was quite definitely the right manager at the right time - he was what we needed. He also left at t he right time Actually see a lot of similarities with Flood - flood was a midfielder that we needed at a certain time, if he wasn't available I would be worried - now he is a squad player for us. Doesn't mean he wasn't the right player a couple of seasons ago Link to comment
