For good news and good things that are happening to you.

Me?

Well I'm revising for a calculus exam and after a week of not being able to grasp it I finally seem to be understanding it....and that makes me happy.

Good for you, once you learn it you will wonder how you got through life without it :P

For me, eh will be over in Scotland this time next week, so if any of you want to meet Byen, too bad, eh am washing my hair all week.

The team I coach just won 5-3 this morning, should have been 10-3 but for poor finishing. But they're actually starting to play like proper little fitba players, so I'm fecking delighted.

And I think my Bronchitis is clearing up a bit... and I ain't got time for that.

3 weeks of feeling like shite, early morning starts and trying to coach a fitba team... been quite a laugh.

Still. things are looking up.

Room for improvement then Kelt, dinna rest on your laurels :dc:

You will thank me when you become the SAF of the White Suburbs of Detroit Kids League

I'm a believer in positive reinforcement... at the end of every game I focus on what they did well,, tell them what we can do better, and give advice to each player on how to improve their overall play. Even if a player has played keech I'll remind them of what they did well, and tell them to focus on what they did that had a positive impact on the game.

Fortunately we've no Detroit teams on our league... dinna fancy having to apply an ice-pack to a gunshot wound.

I hummed and heyed about going to a Classic Rock tribute band at the Cloverleaf last night as I thought it would be shit. Well I bit the bullet and rocked out with Bucksburn's aging rock clientele.

Turned out a great night and it's probably the first time there has been pyrotechnics in the Leaf.

Even jim the barman was raising his fist to Rock n Roll.

Mcruvie and Patrice are on there in a couple of weeks, I went to the last one, was good. More mature audience than you'll be used too but still a good night to be had, late opening is a boost as well.
