We've never lost to Croatia, there's no reason to expect anything other than a competitive game at Hampden. We really need to win this one so we don't go through the group without a home win and a chance to save some face and finish on a high. The home games have been dire. I'm still wavering over whether to go or not.

I'd have liked to have seen Scott Arfield called up, he's done really well with Burnley this season, maybe the USA friendly will see him get a shout.

Where has he been playing for Burnley? Out wide or in CM? Quite a lot of competition for a central midfield place right now. Craig Bryson has scored 6 goals in 10 games for a struggling Derby side and he can't get a look in.

Couldn't say with any certainty but I think he's played in a wide midfield position as opposed to the centre. Still though you're right to say that at this moment in time we're pretty well served in midfield - Bryson deserves his call-up, playing well in a poor Derby side. Just don't know where the next decent Scottish central defender is going to come from, Martin and Hanley have done OK, but I'm just not convinced by them.
