Dmm1197
Why on earth was Hammell called into the squad ahead of Mark Reynolds. Link to comment
BrianFaePerth
Genuine question, who is Steven Hammell? Link to comment
Patty
Motherwell left back. Linked with us a few times in the JC era. Turned us down to return to Motherwell I think? Link to comment
Foster14
Hammell will be going in as a left back. I don't think Reynolds has covered himself in glory in that position. If a centreback had pulled out, he may be close to the outer edges of the squad and have a chance of a callup. Link to comment
BrianFaePerth
Motherwell did spring to mind. Have the zombie hun no got a spare player for the squad? Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Why on earth was Hammell called into the squad ahead of Mark Reynolds.Because a left back pulled out and has been replaced with a left back. Link to comment
Tommy
Because a left back pulled out and has been replaced with a left back.It really is that simple. Link to comment

Rubinho Escocia
Hammell's a decent player but this type of short sighted cap is one of the contributing factors to us not qualifying for a tournament for so long - we need to produce better players, but we also need to utilise what we've got better. Suppose, Croatia is a must win game so having him on the bench just in case will be key for his development and benefit us in the next few years when he's nowhere near the squad... Link to comment
StevieT1986
i would of preferred the loon Dixon at Huddersfield. He impressed me at the start of this qualifying campaign Link to comment
RUL
Is there not an U21 left back capable of stepping up? Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Given that the current under 21 left back is Clark Robertson... I'm gonna say no. Dixon is a good shout. What happened to him? He played brilliant against Serbia Link to comment

dave_min
Because a left back pulled out and has been replaced with a left back. Surely, going by that logic, the Dons should have bothered to sign a Left Back at some point in the last 10 years? Link to comment
