Squad Options

Without getting carried away, we know seem to have an abundance , almost, of decent options all over the pitch. It appears the days of playing players completely out of position just because you can are gone, our bench was amazing last night, no fillers.

I'd still love to see a couple of natural full backs in the squad for the first time in around 5 years but apart from that, oh and a real goal scorer to lead the line. I think if we'd taken Boyd instead of Zola we'd be top of the league right now.

 

Not a complaint, just an speculative observation.

Would still love us to get a right back, and obviously a keeper but this is easily the best team i have seen since 06/07 when Jimmy imploded and started signing the mark kerrs and lee mairs of the world.
