what do you think of this nonsense?

Its just encouraging people to be overweight imo and trying to say its acceptable. It's not, especially on woman. Females need to aspire to look good, not just throw in the towel.

I'm more worried that you are reading the Daily Mail.

Even more worryingly...the "femail" section!

On topic though, surely it's more beneficial for woman, or men, to go into a clothes shop, find a dress she likes only to find that it's a size 12 and under...so she thinks "fuck sake, I need to lose weight". Thinking "i'm too fat" is a more healthy than thinking "it's not me...it's the clothes that are too small"

Honestly don't see the problem with that. Not into massive women but the size 16 manniquin's definitely worth a ride, wouldn't be that bothered going out with a girl that size. Plus chubby girls can be more of a laugh cause they're not up themselves and are willing to try more things in bed because they feel they have to overcompensate.

I just Googled to see what a Size 16 looks like...fucking hell...there's a happy medium and that's not it...20 years ago any woman that size would be regarded as an embarrassment to be seen with...even pished...sad days when this shape of woman is being seen as fit to model clothes on.

There was some wife from the fashion industry on the radio this morning, ranting and raving about this.

She pointed out that Scotland is the 2nd fattest nation on earth, after America, and so we should stop normalising piggery. (I have a bit of a pauch myself).

She also said that a size 10 today is equivalent of a size 14 in the 60s. Its true that the shops continually make the sizes bigger over time, to flatter womans egos. A woman is more likely to buy an item is it says "size 10" than "size 16" on it - even if it was the exact same garment, including in actual size.

Basically, a woman could be 40 stone and a prisoner in her own bedroom as she cant fit through the door - but as long as her nightie said "size 10" she would be perfectly happy with the situaiton!

Let's not beat around the bush here, size 16 will be officially classified as OBESE. This should not be encouraged in any shape or form. This is such a hypocritical country where one minute we are bleating about the number of overweight people we have and how heart disease is rife, then they are celebrating bringing out clothes for fatties and making it more "normal".

There seems to be some confusion between a 'curvy' women and what is essentially being fat caused by the 'body confident' lot.

The size 16 burd that made it into the miss England finals was a fatty. It's all well be chubby and being confident in yourself, but it isn't healthy, not very attractive most times.

Natural isn't scoffing your face with biscuits, fried chicken and coca cola.

Natural isn't sitting on your arse all day watching reality TV and soaps.

Natural isn't eating a low fat weight watchers brownie.

It's very easy to become overweight with a lot of jobs being in an office, but that also means you don't consume so much energy so you don't need to eat as much as someone who's moving around, working up a sweat all day.

Fat people are repulsive unless you are keen on pickle onion breath, the smell of b.o, and rolls and rolls of pure fat.

This only encourages women to think this is natural. This should not be allowed.

It's bloody pc gone mad I tell you!!

Agreed. Utterly repulsive.

This culture of fat acceptance is ridiculous, some chubsters would even argue that they can do nothing about their morbid obesity.
