Im sure we could have a page of errors by both the Main stand linesman and brines. I really hope that the club have the guts to complain about Brines. Mcinness is welcome to my seat if need be - but "I don't want to comment" shouldn't be an option - we really should speak out against what is incompetent

 

Monday at Pittodrie was a fantastic advertisement of the Scottish game - today thanks to Brines was an embarrassment to Scotland and if we are to weak to say so we deserve all we get

A lot of people will criticize the team for today's result which wouldn't be fair. We were let down by the ref today and to some extent Barry Robson, never realised Robson was booked in the first half, but the challenge for his second was just daft.

 

Would like to see the handball on the line again as the players seemed pretty convinced. Brines seemed to think it came off the defenders head.

 

Overall, bitterly disappointed with the result, but I thought we played some of the best football of the season, especially in the first half.

Referee - Was apparent from early onnhe wanted it to be the Brines show.Standard from him, the referee should go unnoticed, but you always notice him. No control, little consistency and bad bad decisions.

Today was my first game since we drew with Celtic 4-4.

 

And WOW... just WOW.

 

From being a season ticket holder in the Mcghee era I expected a level of dross today and what I found was tactical, solid football from Aberdeen. I'm so impressed with how the team pass, play tactically, move... even watching the boys on the bench twitching around and living the game. It's a very encouraging sight.

Also, the crowd today was different from then, a chin-up lads attitude, a passion, a more positive mindset. Nae getting on the back of players... why!? Because the players are fucking good and bust their nuts for AFC. When 3 went in, the body language was so telling. For the first time in a long time I've seen Aberdeen players utterly distraught for one another.

Aberdeen, keep doing what you're doing. I like it.

 

Refereeing - That's not how you do it.

 

There NEEDS to be something done about the standard of refereeing in Scottish football. That IS the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen in my life.

 

I'm aghast at how poor the refereeing was. What on earth do you do against that pish!? I mean.... WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?

Quickly. Not one to blame refs but we've played that game with 10 men and really it should have been Hearts down to 10 men in the first half. Hector is a technically great player as will be great for us in games going well but he won't put his foot in or battle. Hearts wouldn't have gone 2-1 up if Shaughnessy was at right back. Hector earned his chance to start today but would drop him for Celtic Park

Two people directly responsible for that result today.

Brines & Robson, now I don't want to sound like a (tim) paranoid sour grapes fan but in this instance I no doubt will because that is the worst refereeing performance I have witnessed (without it being against one of the arse cheeks) in a fucking long time.

He was fkn honking. Not speaking about the Robson yellows because if it struck his hand & he's advancing on the free kick, then it has to be a yellow & Brines was right there but Robson (someone so fkn experienced) was a fkn idiot to give away a blatant yellow (when we still had cover) in the middle of the fkn park He made Brines desperation to fuck us over as simple as fuck.

All that aside Brines was blatantly biased & that is no exaggeration. In fact we only started getting simple decisions (that we deserved all game) in our favour towards the end of the game & when the game was pretty much beyond us.

McGinn (not going to be too harsh on) should have done better with the penalty (not like him cos he normally places them so well) but it was a good save by McDonald.

Clangers (credit to him) made a very good block in the first half & it could (& should) have turned out to be a crucial save but for the combination of Brines & Robson (is Robson scared to play against celtic or something?).

& as someone has mentioned already, WTF was with only one minute of stoppage time in the first half? To lengthy "injury" stoppages, a penalty (which should have been penalty number two at the very least) & also a substitution & we get ONE fkn minutes injury time & at a time when we could possibly have tried to kill them off.

 

We also should have had a penalty in the second half for a blatant hand ball.

 

I don't blame Aberdeen players at all (Robson excluded) for losing that game today. They worked hard & done everything asked of them & deserved a lot more but were on an up hill struggle with that cunt & his fkn whistle.

 

McInnes needs to make sure he doesn't just shrug his shoulders to that refs performance. At very least he needs to ask for him to be looked at because he was truly dreadful.

We need to use this game to build a siege mentality & get the team fighting for each other (they have been so far) & hopefully the heads don't go down because they deserved a lot more from today but yet again, those jambo cunts have robbed us. WTF is it with them?

Up until now he was our penalty taker, he has placed some cracking pens & his confidence "should" have been more than up to it, seen as he's scored three good goals in two games.

He should be taking them until he misses (like other sides do) & that's fair enough. Someone else can step up now until they miss. Probably Robson because we won't get a penalty in the next league game anyway.

 

You make it perfectly clear you are not a McGinn fan at the moment & that (& hindsight) are your reasons for saying he shouldn't have taken the penalty (imo)

After reading the match thread I will amend my original opinion on the number of people responsible for that loss today.

After gathering more information not previously known to me I have come to realise that there was not ONLY two persons directly responsible for the loss. There was in fact four people to blame.

Brines, Robson tup & his loon.
