Sonoftherock
Absolutely gutted... totally sick. But well done England and Stokes... some missed opportunities at the end there, the missed lbw was a disgrace from the umpire, but stokes was incredible - he can’t control that. Link to comment

Don't recall them having so many good fast bowlers either. I thought/hoped the guffs would get pummeled over there... but that's a good start. Link to comment

That wicket in the last over of the day could be crucial, cheered the hosts up no end. I predict Root out early tomorrow, maybe first four overs, England don't get 400. 1 Link to comment

Will be interesting to see what India make when they get in... that middle order is stacked! Looks like they have gone with only two quicks - stiff leaving out Siraj - he looked like an amazing talent in Brisbane and Melbourne. ...looking forward to the main event today! Perth vs Sydney in the Big Bash final! Link to comment
The Cockney Don
I got that spectacularly wrong. Double century for Root and still going, and 450 up for the team. 1 Link to comment

Test cricket is in a great place right now IMO. The recent Australia vs India series was absolutely absorbing. One of the best I've ever seen. Was gutted the SA tour was called off. Tough loss for India but expect them to come roaring back, like they did over here. Australia smashed them in Adelaide... but from then on, it was all India. Link to comment
