DandyDon KD
Just out of interest does anyone on here know our average away support this season? Couldn't find the stat anywhere and am sure that someone from the hat would know. Link to comment

Thor Steinar
How bad would other team's away supports be if they weren't all next door to each other. Our average round trip is 256 miles. Link to comment

Did you seriously sit down & work out the exact round trip average distance for us against EVERY team in the SPFL for this season? What's ICT's & Ross Co's? Link to comment
tightbreeks
thor steinar, were you a hired goon in iron man 3? remember the bit when stark is tied to a bed frame waiting for mark 42 to arrive. if you know the bit, you'll know the bit I mean. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
It'd be decent if more folk in our away support made the effort to support the club and go along to Pittodrie once in a while. That aimed at me? If so, I have missed the last couple of home games for various reasons, some of which I will not divulge on here but others have been missed because of working offshore, Christmas guests & pre arranged trips booked for horse racing with other horse share owners. My season ticket is normally used during the games I cannot attend though. Must be great being able to attend every game home & away is it? Link to comment
Pudgie
Which bit of the cuddy do you own? It's the noise that gets me. Great, loud away fans and quiet as mice at home. Link to comment
tup
Or just stopped going, that way we wouldna line the pockets of central belt filth with the added bonus of improving the general atmosphere for normal Aberdeen fans who dont like weegies and could do without hearing their voices in the Dons end. Biscuit
Still great numbers at away games Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Sneck 94 miles ewRossco add on a dozen or so. Ew Not that I drive that road twice a weekThanks. Is that their average distance to all grounds, or is that just their distance to us? Can you give me every team in the leagues average away game distance please? Not all leagues, just the SPFL. All the leagues would be a little too much to ask. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, fine-n-lazybastard Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Anyone know the average of the amount of folk who ask the average attendance. Probably an average number.& anyone know how many of them really care, on average? Link to comment
tightbreeks
on average, the indian man's penis is smaller than the rest of the world. fact. we've got fans all over the country, unlike hearts. we have the 3rd biggest, 3rd is pap but hey-ho, support in Scotland. fact. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Not at all. I'd suggest as we both live in the central belt we both know several who love an away day but never go near Pittodrie.I know of a few yes but most of the ones I go to away games with actually make the effort to go to home games just as often & some of them make use of my season ticket when I cannot. Problem is (imo) that the away atmos & all together experience is much more enjoyable sadly & we need the same kind of concentrated atmos injected into the whole Pittodrie experience. Shame the Ultra's fucked themselves up by being a bit twattish cos they actually had the right idea to an extent but got a bit childish. Link to comment

ebbe
a band of langfield fanatics aside we have the best away support in the country by a mile. arguably the most loyal aswell when you consider some of the shite over the last 18 years. Link to comment

Jigot & his cronies will have you believe that Hearts are the bestest in the whole world but the bulk of them only turned up when Mad Vlad turned up to get them winning the champions league. Credit to those that have hung around to support all their kids now though in their time of need. Cannot deny these are decent fans. Even if they are Jambos. Link to comment
ebbe
hearts currently have and always have had a terrific home support. never seen them with a decent away support however, always been pretty pathetic IMO. Link to comment

Even when you discount the obvious & easy to get to Easter rd games. This season for example they had 2k at St Johnstone & I'd say they are probably averaging just over a thousand (at a guess) this season. Link to comment
ebbe
don't think ive ever seen them with more than 500 at pittodrie. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
don't think ive ever seen them with more than 500 at pittodrie.I'd say they had nearer a thousand at our last game but maybe Jigot can give us a better idea (without being biased hopefully) They had a good support at County, Perth, Utd, for sure all over 1k & as I said, 2k at Perth.
