Does anyone have a Slingbox? How is it? Thinking about getting one so I can watch the cup final when I'm on holiday. I know there are cheaper options with a VPN but I could probably get other uses out of it since I'm away quite a bit.

Yes. Haven't taken it out of the box yet. Got it for my Christmas for recording the inside of a bird box.

My friend, who lives in Moscow, uses this. He can't bear to be without his beloved SKY TV, so he set up a connection between his parents house in Aberdeen and his apartment in Moscow. From what he's told me, it's absolutely excellent. He uses it every day.

I would've thought hidemyass and sky go would've got rid of all need for something like this.

Eh ken a boy who has a house in Spain and uses it to watch Noggie tv when he is down there.

 

 

Would have thought it was cheaper to buy a tin of paint and a brush and just watch the paint dry of an evening, it would certainly be more entertaining.
