Redstar
I'm planing on getting a full stainless system fitted to the Audi...this will take all day...I can't ask anyone to follow me up , drive me back to Aberdeen and then drive me back to Turriff late afternoon...for obvious reasons...which leaves the bus/train back and forth...which would be tedious...so I'm left looking at hanging around Turriff all day...the Celebration tea room in the 70's furniture shop will kill... at most...an hour...the boozer is out of the question...I'm erring towards a day in the bookies...or? The train? FFS. That stopped going to Turriff when Dr Beeching wielded the axe min. One bus an hour. That's yer lot. If Turriff are at home I'd recommend going to their game and punching Darren Mackie in the throat pre match. Link to comment

Why do you want a "custom" unspecific exhaust that's not been designed for your car? They have no R&D. You could effectively be hampering the performance by too much or too little back pressure. Gases may not be removed quick enough. I've seen efforts from them, good and bad and if it was my car, I sure as FUCK wouldn't be letting them loose on making an exhaust. Depending on your model of car, you could well be spending too much. These guys have good stock but aren't the cheapest around by any stretch. http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufacturer_product.php?manufacturer=Milltek&category=exhaust&product=Exhausts&make=Audi&model=A4 For all vag cars, miltek are the best. slippers
Turriff United are away at Buckie. Turriff Thistle are at home to Dee Amateurs, they play down at the Haughs next to the United ground. KO at 2. Best I can think of I'm afraid. The only other thing is the pub for a soft drink to watch Hearts v Celtic, Middlesborough v Leeds or Chelsea v Everton the only problem, with this is that most of the pubs that have the footy on require you to be signed in... ericblack4boss
Well I got a stainless steel exhaust from Turriff tyres for my motor can't complain about them a good quality exhaust at a reasonable price. You will get a life time guarantee as long as you get the system checked over every year.I live beside Cuminestown around 5 miles far turriff. Aye you could go to celebrations if you have plenty of cash. And really much to do apart from that. Take a set of bowls you can go for a game at bowling club.Or the best suggestion go to the Haughs and shout abuse at Mackie Link to comment

What do tuning companies know! If you think it's only the bore that matters, then chap on. Grade of metal, wall thickness, gas velocity, scavenging, radii of bends, back pressure all have an effect on the performance of the engine. The design is critical on a na car to ensure scavenging on blowdown. Go too big bore and you lose velocity. The design importance is critical. More so on a turbo which is utterly reliant on removal of gas at the correct velocity. You want a massive "void" after a turbo in order to maximise gas velocity upstream of the turbo in order to allow the turbo to spool up quicker. But I'm sure the gadgie fae turra tyres has learned the best possible design from his experience of 5 audis he's made powerflo exhaust I'm highly sure he's checked the design efficiencies on his rolling road and measured the gas velocity and pressures to optimise it. Remember. The ark wasn't real. Link to comment
Redstar
The car is booked in a week Monday...It's an estate with a bit of boot about it so I'm not too fussed if I lose or gain 5-10bhp...that is all you will ever notice...price is very good when compared to Audi originals and all I'm looking for is a solid exhaust to last...Ps...how do you know the Ark wasn't real?
