ExciledDon
Help! My mrs is an exciled Don for over 20 years, as a birthday treat I thought I would make a weekend of going to Glasgow and cup final. I checked with the ticket office and was told that there should be plenty of tickets on general sale so booked flights and hotel, I now see there is little chance of tickets making general sale :-( Can anyone help me with getting two tickets, and at the same time stop me from being in the dog house?! Cheers nick Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
5 options . 1. Somebody has 2 tickets spare (I dont) 2. You phone the ticket office tomorrow and buy 1 ticket for the Dumbarton game and 2 tickets for the final 3. You splash out and buy some corporate tickets from Celtic if they have any left 4 you go in the caley end 5 you cross your finger s and hope afc put some on general sale Link to comment
Eastcoastdon
I tried for days trying to get through to ticket office and ended up buying the bullet and just driving up to Aberdeen during work to go to ticket office as was having no luck whatsoever. Best chance is if you know someone from Aberdeen who hasn't bought yet and has been to a game this season getting you one. Slim I guess. Good luck though. Link to comment

King Street Loon
Do you need a purchase history to get tickets?Yes.As Ernie said, you can buy a ticket for the Dumbarton game, this will create you're history and then you'll be eligible for a Final ticket or 2. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
I too am an exiled Don. I had hoped to maybe be lucky enough to get 2 tickets in the general sale for myself and my son, but the chances of that are quickly receding. I suppose I'll just have to cross my fingers, but am already resigned to seeing it on the telly. Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
Do you need a purchase history to get tickets?Yes but if you buy a Dumbarton ticket that will create a buying history and entitle you two final tickets, but if I were you id do this over the phone or in person as I dont think the online system is geared up to recognise that. dervish
For this game I'm sure there will a dunt of folk buying up their allocation "just in case" there will be spares closer to the time(maybe not together though). Link to comment

RUL
Just buy a ticket for dumbarton game to create the history. As someone said above, will probably find come match day hundreds of spares suddenly become available. Link to comment

All part of the lemming stampede mentality. Could be quite a few with spare tickets left on their hands. Link to comment
ExciledDon
Think may be a bit of a risk waiting to match day, shall try ticket office tomorrow. Is it really awful getting through? Link to comment

Is it really awful getting through? You will probably have to wait in a queue for a while. I tried it and got through on my second call this afternoon. Didn't do me any good as I have no buying history. Link to comment
DD1903
It's your luck I would say. Until I managed to get my tickets through my dad's mate I was in constant redial for hours on Monday and Tuesday...always engaged. But then some folk have got through in a couple of hours. Link to comment

Aberdeen_Ladette
A guy I know has been unable to get through to ticket office as 'phones constantly engaged, and was going to wait to get his tickets on Saturday when at the Dumbarton game. As Final is most likely be sold out tomorrow, his wife is going up from Fife tomorrow on the train to get them for him! Someone mentioned buying the tickets online - Final tickets are no longer available online. Link to comment

Chester Don
Easier said than done my friend. I have been on the phones ( 3 at a time) to ticket office for days, got my Dumbarton ticket a few days ago, just to allow me to apply for final tickets, circa 600 plus times of redialling and still can't get through! I am also an exiled don, living down in Chester now, and desperate for a ticket, only my wife really getting on at me stopped me driving up the 6 hours at 2am last night to get one from toddlers personally Now in the position of pleading if anyone has just the one spare they give me a shout, I will happily pay £100 extra to that persons charity of their choice / themselves, I simply cannot, and will not miss this one! Payment can be made dead easily over PayPal. Come on boys and girls, help out an exile! NOW GOT ONE. OH MY GAWD, 1 Link to comment
Chester Don
Oh my god, just got through for the first time in days and on hold, please pease please have some left! My right index finger is about an inch shorter pressing the redial button all the time! Link to comment
