Dean Windass at Gretna

Recommended Posts

This should be of interest to Dumfries and Galloway Dons’ fans or fans travelling from South of the border up for the Cup semi-final against St. Johnstone . Gretna 2008 will be holding a Sportsman's Dinner on Saturday 12th April, starting at 7pm at the Garden House Hotel, Gretna. It promises to be an entertaining evening with top comedian Howard Nicholson.

However, highlight of the night will be guest Speaker Dean Windass. Not only will he have endless stories from his professional career, Possibly including some of his more controversial moments, but he has also faced even tougher battles in recent times as he struggled with depression and alcoholism following his retirement from the game.

The price of the ticket covers entry, entertainment and homemade steak pie. Dress code is smart casual. Tickets cost £20 per person, or £200 if you wish to purchase a table (10 seats).

Tickets should be bought in advance to avoid disappointment on what promises to be a great night.

For more information and to purchase tickets please contact Craig 07711 738590, CSW Insurance office: 50a Annan Road, Gretna or Raydale Park on home match days. Or pm me
