barassie_afc
Should have a decent impact on the clubs finances, I reckon (all games included) YTD are are on average 3k on last year and have had 10k more supporters through the turnstyles than we did in total 2012-2013 , current average is around 12k Link to comment
Tord31
Regardless of the results in the last 10-11 games of the season if AFC don't turn a profit this year (including servicing the debt) we may aswell close the doors and give up. Link to comment

Tord31
Gate receipts last season £2.2M and £2.4M the year before Broadcasting rights £1.3m last season and £1.7m the year before Commercial £3.2M last season and £3.1m the year before Would hope all three of those revenues catagories record their best result since Bayern season. Tord31
Gate receipts should be better through more punters at Pittodrie and the share of the cup match gate receipts Broadcasting higher through the higher share of League (higher finish) and extra cup games (roughly £80k a go) Commercial not a direct correlation versus the teams success but hopefully filled the boxes and suites a bit more this season than last. Guest milne_afc
Regardless of any upturn in attendances, i doubt we could service this agreement from the last annual report The Bank loans of £10.26 million carry interest at a range of variable rates up to a current maximum rate of 4.01%. The bank loans are repayable as £560,000 on 31 December 2013, £5,000,000 in quarterly instalments of initially £62,500 commencing 30 September 2013 with a final repayment date of 31 December 2015 and £4,700,000 repayable on 31 December 2017. Makes Milne's comment about "permanent solution to debt in 3-4 months" all the more interesting. Link to comment

Attendances are up a bit (not sure how all the freebies are effecting the numbers)broadcasting should improve, money for the final etcyesterday alone will have added to the merch and hopefully the commercial department have cashed in a bit as well, individual sponsors, advertising boards etc. Link to comment

Yeah I remember seeing a wage/bonus structure sheet a while ago (nae sure of how accurate it was) but as you say cup (latter rounds at least) win bonuses were indeed pretty decent. They maybe were given double the cup final win bonus that was on the contract but I'm just questioning it because Robson said it in an interview that he'd asked Milne to double it for a laugh before the game. Milne could very well have agreed to this & stuck to his word & if so then to Milne & Robson of course But it could also be rumour (stemming from Robson's joke in interview) being passed off as fact now also. They deserve it to have been doubled & same again if the do the cup double Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
The win bonus for winning a cup was £6000 a couple of seasons ago.Nae seeing the players being given £12k win bonus for winning the league cup in all honesty. That's £168k just for the 14 players that played & when you add on management bonus + the unused subs (likely a bit less) bonus etc. you're talking upwards of £200k for wining the league cup. Be utterly flabbergassed if Milne signed off on that one. Link to comment

However I think that does not include the corrected figure of 17k we had on Saturday. Also I am not sure if cup games are included in this as when I look at the crowds for league games only, I calculate that our average is around 13k. Can anyone confirm? Link to comment

Win against Utd in a final get £6KPlay against the filth and get £3K, play and win get £6K So they get a bonus just for playing against them and an additional bonus for winning. That should change, we should no longer go into a game with them thinking we're just making up numbers. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Remember that contract was from Rangers still existed. Will be slightly different now I assume. Still nae seeing us paying out over £200k in win bonuses for winning the league cup final (added to all the previous win bonuses in the comp) Link to comment

Still nae seeing us paying out over £200k in win bonuses for winning the league cup final (added to all the previous win bonuses in the comp) There was some English club a few years ago who ended up in a far worse financial position due directly to the amount of win bonuses paid out through out the season, Link to comment

Localfitbafan
Don't think they can pay anymore (or less) than what is lodged with the sfa in the contracts the players have signed. Think a team in the EPL got pulled up for this earlier in the season when there chairman offered extra money for a win and then had to withdraw the offer due to a breach of rules Link to comment

Fairly sure anyone involved in the win is entitled as well...as per 1.3 below That document is wholly consistent with the information I was given. Good find. Link to comment
