Clydeside_Sheep
Who do you think will win it? Radio said candidates are: Lennon (GTF - a monkey could do his job) Stuart McCall Derek McInnes Tommy Wright I think if we can clinch 2nd to go with the League cup, McInnes will get it regardless of what happens in the scottish cup. But If Motherwell get second, and St Johnstone win the cup, then Tommy Wright will get it. Lennon and McCall are not serious contenders imo. Some clown on the radiop said McNamara should be a contender - I nearly crashed the car in disgust! Link to comment
zander
As it stands then Derek.Achieved more so far than the other 2 not including Popcorn teeth. Link to comment
Boooooth
Lennon and McCall are not serious contenders imo. McCall should be a contender, definitely... He's done a great job with a small budget. I'd go for McInnes tho, especially if we can grab second place. We've had a great season. Link to comment

I'd go for McInnes tho, especially if we can grab second place. We've had a great season. Not imo he shouldn't & neither should Lennon.Lennon has walked a league with a huge budget but still been papped oot both cups early with same budget & was pish in Europe.McCall has done well in league but only league & was pish in both cups. Even if he gets second he shouldn't be considered & I'd have McNamoaner in ahead of McCall actually.Between McInnes & Wright imo & all depends on if we finish second, or if Wright wins the cup. Redstar
Derek is nailed on for this...regardless of anything else...inheriting "Broons Legacy" and avoiding relegation are "Manager of the Year" credentials... Link to comment
Rubinho Escocia
I think it's announced before the Scottish Cup so reckon McInnes will get it; although at the end of the season I think people may consider Wright was unlucky not to get it. I'd be surprised if Lennon or McCall were to win it and I'd have been tempted to put Ian Murray in ahead of both and McNamara in place of either. Link to comment
spamspamspam
There's only 1 candidate IMO McInnes Lennon bought the league, as usual. McCall has done nothing new, pretty much the same position as last season, no real progress, just a stead shipWright - see McCall. OK, he may win a cup but you shouldnt get manager of the year awards for winning 5 or 6 games. McInnesTook a club that was 8th, made them the best of the rest for most of the season. Even if we finish 3rd its still 5 places higher than last. He's taken a club that did everything it could to not win a cup and won a cupHe's galvanised a city and a supportThe work he's done has benefited all of Scottish football. Our away support is massive and bouncing again as well, while not at the levels the old firm used to bring to clubs when there was an old firm its still a massive boost to the likes of Killie when we turn up. If he doesnt win its a fucking conspiracy I tell thee Link to comment
Dandyesque
Ally McCoist for me. The Ramsden's Cup was like a dream come true. If St Johnstone win Scottish Cup and finish in 5th or better, then Tommy Wright- he's a much smaller budget than McInnes to work with. If they don't then McInnes. Don't really give much of a fuck to be honest - the fact Neil Lennon has won it previously shows how worthless it is. Link to comment
StandFree1982
As the award is handed out on Sunday, I would give it to McInnes. If it was at the end of the season and St Johnstone won the Scottish Cup then TW would be in with a shout as he's done a great job with St J, making them a very good side and, in this theoretical future, cup winners. If Aberdeen get 2nd and already won a cup then it would / should still go to McInnes. Fuck it....McInnes all the way. Not a chance Popcorn teeth should win it, his cup record this season is shocking and in Europe they were shite as well. Link to comment

TwoStars
Stuarty has to get his hands on this. Look at all the top players he's placed with such a small budget and despite poor cup runs he's still fighting for second place. Link to comment

At this present moment in time, Aberdeen are 2nd in the league, won a cup and got to the semi of another. Motherwell are 3rd and were nowhere near winning any of the cups. Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
Aberdeen has experienced the biggest positive turnaround this season. McInnes (in his first season in charge) is by far the biggest reason and would get my vote. (A nod to Wright for also attaining both semis and a final, but his squad will finish 6th.) Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Noticed there's a poll going in the record & McInnes on 36% is just ahead of Wright on 29% (other two are a good bit behind) so get yersels on & make yer vote. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/poll-who-crowned-scotlands-manager-3449406 Yes yes I know it's the bloody daily retard but I stumbled upon it whilst checking the "killie in the shite for forging signature" link to the record in the Hearts thread. Get on & get his % up more Dandies Link to comment
Dandyesque
It's a meaningless poll in a shit rag of a paper. Why bother? Not like it affects the outcome. Link to comment
