The dundee dandy
Without A win in a few matches the lads naw looking the same is it that ineveitable time of year when the players think "Fuck it seasons over" when in fact is all still to play for? Link to comment
The Boofon
No. A little unlucky recently. Defence also a little shakey. That's all. Link to comment
Stoney
Tiredness for me, small squad and taking its toll now Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Starting to think Hibs will be our last win of the season. Just 2 wins since winning the league cup. Very poor... performances haven't been great either. Going forward we looked better than recently yesterday but we countered that by being a shambles at the back Link to comment
King Street Loon
The lack of wins is doubtless playing on their minds. This will enhance the tiredness that's creeping in. Also encorages the lack of creativity at the moment. We're in a tough moment. Link to comment
The Boofon
We'll smash the jutes midweek. Link to comment
TwoStars
Whole teams knackered. That's it... Link to comment
Stoneybloke
The overall weakness in the squad has been highlighted by recent results. Letting Magennis and Wylde go was a mistake. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Wylde could have been useful in recent weeks. Magennis would offer something different. If they were still here could we have afforded Rooney though... Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Not true. Both were not good enough for us.Maybe not in the long term, but if they had still been around, then possibly this so-called tiredness might not have occurred. Both could have done a decent job when necessary. Link to comment
Henry
Wylde could have been useful in recent weeks. Magennis would offer something different. Magennis would've offered the same as Zola, ie being tall, shit at football and not white. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Wylde's wage was used on Rooney, so it's wrong to say it was a mistake considering his contribution. It's tiredness creeping in - there's a reason not many "smaller" teams with smaller squads manage two long cup runs and a strong challenge for 2nd.This tiredness stuff is just shite. Look at all the international breaks they get. Can understand if the likes of Anderson and Robson may be wilting a bit now, but not the whole team. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Magennis would've offered the same as Zola, ie being tall, shit at football and not white.Hint of prejudice there? Better be careful with that sort of stuff. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Magennis would've offered the same as Zola, ie being tall, shit at football and not white. Magennis offers pace and power. And now and then he'd actually take a great touch or have a fair strike. Zola... just absolutely nothing. Ever 1 Link to comment
barassie_afc
4 wins in last 10 games, trundling to the end of the season. Still think we will get second Link to comment
Stoneybloke
If tiredness is a valid issue and I doubt whether it is, then other things such as diet and nutrition need to be looked at. Too many fish suppers and butteries perhaps. Link to comment
Highbury Don
classic fall-off in form after a cup win - Happens so often, low after the high.. Overall it's been a great season - what an improvement over the last couple of years of dross. Would I have taken a trophy, a semi, a place in Europe and possibly second if you'd offered me at start of season? You betcha!! Still think we'll finish on a high and beat motherwell - Hope for a good attendance to push the lads over the line and finish on a high 1 Link to comment
MegaloDon
I don’t buy it - that tiredness is a reason for our poor form. good grief , they are 'athletes' - who only play once or twice a week. If anything they should be approaching peak performance as the weather improves into spring ; after the sluggish coldness of the winter, which naturally slows people down.. There must be something wrong with our training ,or recuperation methods if there is any tiredness (mental or physical). I doubt if we will be seeing 'tired' players at the world cup shortly. 1 Link to comment

rossafc92
I still think that when people say 'tiredness', they don't simply mean that the players are physically tired. I thought we looked pretty energetic yesterday. Maybe too energetic for a game at Celtic Park. There's definitely a tiredness in terms of ideas at Pittodrie, as I've stated before. Teams have found out that we're relatively straight forward to play against at Pittodrie. Thankfully it's only now that's started to happen. Just have to hope that McInnes gets the right players in so that there's more creativity about us, allowing us to develop a more recognisable plan B, which we don't have. Link to comment

EverIf Magennis had been available to come on as a sub with at least 20 minutes to go, it would have made far more contribution than bringing the likes of Low on right at the end of the game. These very late substitutes are only for time wasting, not for turning things around. Link to comment
