Tord31
Not many teams going to be up for giving us a decent game in June so it could be wise move to approach some of the other seeded sides in the 1st Qualifying Round of Europa League to see if they'll give us a game on Saturday June 28th. Not sure playing Villareal or Rothes will be the best preparation. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Not overly fussed. Only a week into pre-season against a team who must be in the middle of theirs. Just about getting fitness levels back up I guess Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Boy wasn't marked in the box and had a free header. Not sure Langfield can be blamed for that. But in the official match report on Redweb he is found to have been his usual self. Protect him all you like but most of us know how bad he truly is..... Aberdeen got off to a dreadful start when they first of all gave away a corner after Shaughnessy was forced to head behind a dangerous cross. (was this a cross that should/could have been dealt with by the keeper)? Conan Byrne swung in the ball from the left and Mark Quigley could not believe his luck as he was left completely unmarked and was able to head the ball past Clarke.Shortly after that Aberdeen got themselves in a mess again when Langfield had to deal with a back pass, although the keeper lost the ball on his goal line, the defence were able to regroup and deal with a chipped cross into the box. Strangely Brown was an unused sub...Only unused sub from the nine we had on the bench WTF? Seems that Clangers is being treated a little too well ALREADY over the new keeper. It's a preseason friendly FFS. They should get a half each. I'll bet a good few of the fans that traveled there hoped to get a glimpse of Brown in goal to see if he has what it takes. I'd like to know if he's the real deal & a suitable challenger for the gloves, or if he's just another token No.2 signing that will not really be even considered for No.1 unless the FWTG gets injured....
