He's not the worst ref we had and to be honest all the officials need to take the blame for the collective blind eye turned to the blatant foul on Langfield. Linesman should have helped McLean to make sure the right decision was arrived at.

 

Totally agree we need to improve the refereeing standards in this country greatly. The SFA seem to think our refs are great but I think that's the result of still running so much of our game with a completely amateur attitiude - the are good refs and linesman if you judge them as amateurs.

 

But if we judge them as trained professionals can we say that the overall standard is good? I don't think so.

 

So its time we got a professionally run service.

Scottish refs are collectivly shite, every last one of them has a decision like yesterday in them, of course they are protected and cant explain decisions, but from what I know and the ones I have met, they are arrogant b*stards.

 

McLean was lucky at the end of the game that Robson didnt lay the c*nt out, Deek had Robbo by the throat holding him back

Assistant Refs just stand there waiting for the ref to make a decision before deciding which way to flag for a throw in. They truly are waste of money. They are also usually short and bald. Not a criticism, just an observation.
