Getting To The Game

Recommended Posts

I'm in for all August and onwards fixtures. Looking very doubtful for July away fixtures - could maybe be saved by a wee UK'er but I'm man of the people and would rather see us Faroes, Gibraltar or Andorra for a better trip (and easier tie than UK team) for the majority.

Direct flight possibilities for QR1 from Aberdeen are FK Daugava of Riga, the Belfast sides (Crusaders & Glenavon), Airbus UK using the Manchester flight and Dundalk on the Dublin flight.

Couple of hours at the other end for the flights from Cardiff (Aberystwyth Town) and Belfast (Derry City) would also be easy.

Possibly could be plenty possibilities for cheapo flights for those that act fast if we draw any of the above.

Everywhere else looking like two flights or get on a charter.

for Dnipro we flew Aberdeen - Amsterdam - Kiev - Dnipropetrovsk RETURN

for Madrid we flew Aberdeen - Dublin - Madrid RETURN

for Munich we were on the club charter

Not a lot of time to get the first round trip organised especially if we're drawn away.

Draw for R1 is June 23rd

First game is July 3rd

Someone said on the other thread that the draws are sort of regionalised, been looking for some info to see how its split. Anyone got any ideas? I've got a lot on in June, trying to work out how much cash to hold onto, would be a lot easier if I had a rough idea of the destinations. Would be happy with either a Scandinavian team or an eastern euro just for the scenery

It's not regionalised this year...

We could have 2 weeks to organise getting to Kazakhstan and back.

UEFA are looking into it though.

Amsterdam is the most overated city on the planet.

Better aff flying to wherever from London.

I'd much rather spend a couple of days in Amsterdam or Den Haag than London. A lot cheaper and communication is a lot easier, my Urdu, Turkish and Ijoid isnt that great, that makes getting a taxi near impossible.
