Anderson lifting the cup

Scottish cup semi when the game should have been in the bag

3) Manager's report card (with marks out of ten at the end)?

Fantastic job overall & turned around the club as a whole massively but loses points for the way the season fizzled out so poorly 8/10

4) Player of the season?

Pawlett was shading it over Reynolds (imo) prior to his injury but Reynolds fully deserved it over the whole season for consistency alone.

5) Expectations for next season?

Another cup (preferably Scottish cup) maybe even a double & also a much more consistent league campaign & with no weak performances against the supposed shite sides

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list?

Rb (Logan) LB, keeper, striker & RM/winger & if possible a attacking mid back up to bulk up the squad but that's probably being overly greedy.

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be?

40 000 Dandies at the Piggery was fantastic & could have been even more but for the cocks that runruin our game

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be?

Clear the debt somehow.

5) Expectations for next season? Win the league and Scottish Cup. Retain the league cup.

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list? A COMPETENT GOALKEEPER.

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be? Hibs away first time round. Incredible bounce and the game when I realised we had something good going.

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be? Sack Langfield and Leighton.

9/10, brilliant turn around in a squad going nowhere before he took control.

43,000 dandies in one place, never ever thought I'd experience that

Get a move on with a new stadium, the facilities at pittodrie are a joke.

Seeing the first trophy win of my life.

2) Season lowlight?
SC semi final

3) Manager's report card (with marks out of ten at the end)?
Massive improvement on last season, generally good in the transfer market with a few great signings (Rooney, Flood, Robson). Disappointing end to the season though where we went from being favourites for 2nd and a cup double and ended up 3rd and papped out in the semi. 8/10

4) Player of the season?
Reynolds, great player and thoroughly deserved his place in the team of the year after a very consistent season.

5) Expectations for next season?
2nd and hopefully give Celtic a scare at least. Another trophy would be nice as well.

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list?
A RB, LB, GK and an attacking playmaker.

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be?
Watching Ando lift the cup

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be?

Support McInnes in the transfer window to make sure we get the players we need to improve.

1) Season highlight?
Has to be the Cup Final. Everything about that day was epic..

2) Season lowlight?
Motherwell game. Such a disappointment.

3) Manager's report card (with marks out of ten at the end)?
9/10. We struggled near the end of the season but the depth of our squad is something that needs to be addressed as we had nothng on the bench to change a game, and I think McInnes knew that, hence the lack of plan B or C in games.

4) Player of the season?
Reynolds.

5) Expectations for next season?
We SHOULD be looking to get 2nd, but i'll take 3rd and another cup (or at least a cup final or two!)

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list?
RB, LB, ST, GK

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be?
Watching Anderson lift the cup and trying not to break down. This was ten fold when I watched the game again the day after, hungover and alone, lying on the sofa.

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be?

Pay off the debt.

1) Season highlight?
Rooney's pen and Anderson winning the penalty of course! In terms of pure personal enjoyment though the league cup semi final was actually my highlight of the season. Incredible atmosphere. Incredible result. Incredible piss up with my pals!! Fuck not being an Aberdeen fan on that train home... and then the snuggery??? Oh shhhhhyyyiiiiT

2) Season lowlight?
Scottish Cup semi final. Rooneys first half miss.... McGinns 2nd half header miss... in terms of the league all of the Hearts games were very disappointing

3) Manager's report card (with marks out of ten at the end)?
You can't argue with McInnes. 9th 3 years in a row then the dizzy heights of 8th mostly just because Rangers went bust. We were on our knees. If it was an easy job anyone could have done it. Cheers Del Boy. There is still plenty to improve on though however... no plan B. The way the season fizzled out. We played games like a really shite version of Bayern Munich just passing the ball around and going nowhere.

4) Player of the season?
Reynolds. But he had a few mares near the end of the season. 2nd would be Flood.

5) Expectations for next season?
We have to romp 2nd and get closer to the top. Hard to call the cups cause it depends on the draw.

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list?
Full backs & attacking player to rotate with the front 4

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be?
The raw disappointment of dave_min not drinking on cup final day

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be?

Get a better bath for the south stand corner

1) Season highlight? - The League Cup Semi Final and the feeling/confirmation that this was to be our year is on a par with Anderson lifting the trophy for me.

2) Season lowlight? - Motherwell defeat shades the Scottish Cup Semi Final for me. Saints deserved to win the semi.

3) Manager's report card (with marks out of ten at the end)? - 8/10 - needed the second final for 9/10 and the double for 10/10. Needs to use his squad more next season and lose any trust issues he has with his fringe players if he doesn't it will hold him back. Hopefully he solves his own problem by building a better squad but he must use the players so that they are sharp when required.

4) Player of the season? Reynolds hands down although his form dipped in April/May so hopefully he comes back fresh next season - would be great if he can get the Scotland cap to round off a great season

5) Expectations for next season? Get over 80 points in the league - focus on ourselves and we'll be unlucky if that is not a title challenge

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list? We know the 5/6 positions we needs players but the biggest difference would be if we managed to have two strikers with more than 15 goals next season

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be? 40,000 at Parkhead seeing us win the cup

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be? A debt free club in a new state of the art stadium

Winning the cup was great, but I actually thought the semi at Tyncastle was better.

St Johnstone semi final

10/10 Took over one of the worst teams in the clubs history, cleared the dead wood and built a winning team, mentality of the club has also changed, cant think of anything he could have done better.

Solidify what we have built this season, try to secure second place and perhaps win another trophy, will be hard to repeat this season.

Excellent, I have been impressed by not only his results but his interviews and the way he conducts himself and speaks of the team. 8/10.

4) Player of the season?

 

Hayes for the excitement he brings and the great goals he scored: the 2nd at Motherwell in the cup and of course the worthy "goal of the season" against ra sellick.

5) Expectations for next season?

 

- qualify for europe again

- 2nd place and cut the pts deficit between us and the eventual champions, via less f*ck-ups against the bottom 6 clubs

- acquit ourselves well in the Europe campaign; (I hope we get to the group but with 4 (?) games before it, it may be too far for us at this point)

 

Another cup win would be the crowning glory.

 

We need to maintain the belief and confidence we showed to beat sellick twice this year.

6) What needs to be on the club's summer shopping list?

 

Striker, full backs. A new keeper would be a luxury.

7) What will your overriding memory of the campaign be?

 

Two:

 

(i) The cup win and my being reduced to following the final via BBC text in a turkish hotel room

(ii) Hayes' goal of the season. (ive never forgotten Ricos v similar goal against Torino, I wont forge Hayes' piledriver either!)

8) If the board could do one thing to improve your club what would it be?

 

Appoint the beautiful Alessandra as Official Spokesmodel of Aberdeen FC.
