tutankamun
Surely Chile will walk this? Mind you, I thought Spain would comfortably win the last game... Link to comment
The Boofon
No interest in this one at all. Might watch first 10 or 15 minutes to see if a decent in play bet looks likely. Link to comment
minijc
I expect Chile to blow the Aussies away, 3 or 4 nil I think. Link to comment

boboisared
This really has the makings of a good World Cup Now all we need are the horrible refereeing decisions that we've seen in every game. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
The Neighbours are beginning to piss me off, cheering and shouting every goal in every match, and the oooohs and arrrrs .Somalians and Ghanaians, stuck in the middle of them . Never been to a game in their lives . Link to comment

minijc
First 20-25 minutes Chile were all over Aus, since then it's been very even but some signs of class from Chile. Link to comment
ChookterDon
Aussie's very lucky not to be level. Some decent wingers with pace now they have on, fire a few crosses in and boom Cahill. Link to comment
boboisared
I've really enjoyed this game. Link to comment

SkyeDon
Good game. Chile deserved it in the end. Australia lacked quality when it mattered. Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Think the Socceroos deserved a draw. Happy with their performance. It's good to have someone to follow as opposed to hoping England lose. Surprised how good the socceroos were! Just been at a going away party today for one of my pals, and all the Oz supporters were delighted. Think everyone was fearing a 5 or 6 goal drubbing. Best I've seen Australia play in years. Fair play to them, light years behind Chile in terms of technique and ability, but they battled gamely. Link to comment
tup
They dinna have a striker is their problem. I also think Chile were running in 2nd gear. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
They dinna have a striker is their problem. I also think Chile were running in 2nd gear. Are you talking about Oz or Chile RE: a striker... neither have one IMO? We'll see how good Chile are in the next couple of games. Link to comment
RUL
Very good game but not sure I can agree Australia played well, some of their "good" moves were because their players didn't know what they were doing therefore how were Chile meant to know? Some of the passing was incredible for World Cup level...in a bad way. Didn't think Chile lived up to expectations after the great start but looking forward to watching their next games. Australia will get pumped senseless. Link to comment
tup
Australia. They're hopeless. Scotland would thrash that shower of shite. Link to comment
The Boofon
Australia. They're hopeless.Scotland would thrash that shower of shite.Australia are unlucky as are New Zealand in that the World Cup for them is played in Winter. We all know Aussies and Kiwis can't play in the Winter. Rory Fallon being point in case. Link to comment
woohoo
Aussie players, A-League ones particularly, were shiteing themselves first 20/25 minutes. They just didn't have a clue and had lost all composure. Got to grips with it and deserved a draw. Out-fought Chile and got at them bit, and actually strung more than 3 passes together at some stages... Still, won't matter if they show the same fight against Holland and Spain - absolutely no chance of anything in either game. Link to comment
