Bobby Connor
With my 40th rapidly approaching whatever stupid new football strip the Dons are wearing seems less and less important and the chances of me not looking like a fat cunt wearing it diminish by the year... However... Having watched a stream earlier that granite top looks really cool and if I was 25 years younger I'd be begging for the money to go out and buy one. Great concept and great execution. Well done AFC. Link to comment

Guest
Is granite not grey? Was the last time I looked. Perhaps they should have called it ' All in Quartz' Link to comment
Bobby Connor
Is granite not grey? Was the last time I looked. Perhaps they should have called it ' All in Quartz' It's granite! They've been touting it on Facebook. Of course it's just greyish black but granite just sounds better. 1 Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Quartz is white. Quartz has loads of different colours. Most commonly it's actually translucent. Wouldn't fancy witnessing some of our fans cutting about town in see-through jerseys. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
He's thinking of Quartzite, SOTR - a common misconception. Impurities actually cause the colouration - sometimes with pleasing aesthetic effect, as seen with this poofy rose quartz .... Link to comment

If you were going for something 'quartz-coloured' you would go with white, seeing as 'translucent' doesn't really work as a colour. For example, Corrennie granite is pink/red because of the k-feldspar included in it, but granite is usually considered grey. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
Agreed, but I think what SOTR is saying is that the term quartz is often used to describe what is in fact quartzite. I've always been a fan of lassies with translucent underwear. Works for me. Link to comment
Guest
Quartz is white.Precious stones and metal not my forte. Probably mean anthracite... Is that jet black? Fitever a black stone is, that's what they should have used to advertise it. Link to comment

Am nae really that fussed about the colour of my tees cos most of it is in the ground anyway. Although I'd never use green tees cos they are a mare to find in the grass. 2 Link to comment
lukas989
I think it looks rather fetching. Throw in a neck scarf, fingerless gloves, and a liquorice paper roll up, and you'd be ready for an evening of arthouse movie chat. 2 Link to comment
