AllyDon
If they agree to a big drop in wages maybe No need to rush a new contract for them. Lewis is the priority. 1 Link to comment
TheRock
If players have a good relationship with the manager then McInnes and Doc signing contract extensions may be needed to convince players, like Joe, to sign their own ones. Link to comment

Tyzo_1903
Big Joe needs to be top priority Defo, be a bloody shame to lose him on a free, got a horrible feeling he fancies another crack in England. Arguably the best keeper in the league. Link to comment

Kiriakov33
Interesting point. Maybe for another thread but If Shinnie was to sign a pre contract elsewhere , would you make someone else captain ?? Link to comment

Definitely. Club Captain should lead by example and must be fully committed to the club long term. 1 Link to comment
BWG
Shinnie comes across as a decent guy, unlike that rodent faced cunt who dared to call himself our captain who preceded him, so I don't think he'd go to the huns. Shinnie doesn't have that hun look about him like Jack does. That dark hair, soulless eyes and generally gormless fuckwit expression that permanently adorns his face. Jamie Murphy is another classic example of it. It's definitely some sort of genetic disorder that gives folk a predisposition to being hun bastards. 5 Link to comment

Awkward one though, as Mckenna is Vice Captain but more than likely he won't be playing for us next season either if we get a big offer in the summer. Just keep Shinnie as Captain, as long as he's not going to Glasgow. Next in line after those two would be Logan, Lewis or Considine I would think? Link to comment

Given Derek's public desire to sign an actual left back, you can take Considine off that list as I doubt he'll be more than a bench warmer going forward Link to comment
Zander1903
wouldn't be upset if the Shinster was to stay on but just in case Let big Joe concentrate on stopping goalsLogan's not really leadership materialConsidine should really be on the bench apart from Devlin(injured a bit) I canna really think of who else if/when McKenna goes that i'd like to wear the armband Link to comment
Donscanada
Find it wierd that GMS is linked with NYC. They play at Yankee Stadium and everytime I see a match on TV with Toronto FC it looks like the pitch is very small to accommodate being in a baseball stadium. The NY/NJ NFL clubs do not play there. For a player who makes his money being elusive on the flanks and someone slight in frame this might be an issue when playing at home. 1 Link to comment

TheRock
There's very few players who are going to stay with us for longer than one or at most two contracts (especially if there time here is successful which means offers to double or triple their salaries from England will almost certainly come in). So if we can't make someone a captain of they don't see their long term future with us, I guess we should just make Andy Considine captain. Link to comment

V for Vendetta
I'd make McKenna captain if Shinnie goes in Jan. Don't see him potential my leaving in the summer as an impediment to being captain and maybe strengthens our argument to get the best valuation. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
If shinnie tells us he is off, he should be stripped of the captaincy Black and whiteFair enough. I was talking about if he actually leaves this month. Don't really get why some people would exclude McKenna from being captain. Link to comment
Tord31
Possibly our starting XI looking like this Lewis Logan Devlin McKenna Lowe Ferguson Shinnie GMS Stewart McGinn Cosgrove subs probablyCerny, Hoban, Considine, Gleeson, McLennan, May and Wilson so sitting in the stand;Reynolds, Ball, Wright, Forrester, Ross and Anderson Great to have a squad but could be worth moving 1 or 2 on to make space for another player to get more close to starting XI Link to comment
