Almost impressive the sheer amount spent on total rubbish

Whoever the new manger is will have a tough time (whatever division we're in) to recruit a whole new squad. THis new Head of Recruitment will be working over time finding players

No way should we be recruiting a whole new squad (again).

A decent manager can turn this around without a cut and run on the whole squad.

We've got a terrible team, let alone a squad.

It'll be double figures again for the 4th summer in a row.

Concentrate on a spine. Goalkeeper and a good organiser in at centre half to partner Ruby will see instant improvement and increased confidence throughout the squad.

A ball winning midfielder and a decent winger or two.

Think we'll have to:

Roos, Gartenmann away at end of season for sure, likely to be Duk, Barron and MIovski too

Personally struggle to see any real quality left in that squad (bar CLarkson and McGrath maybe, and Clarkson hasn't been anywhere near as impactful as we'd have hoped

Goalkeeper

Centre back 1 (leader/mentality)

Winger 1 (experienced performer)

Cm (leader/mentality)

Winger 2

Centre back 2 (mentality again, can’t have to many players who’d kick their granny to win a game)

We just don't play to their strengths sadly. Both are very talented midfielders who have been badly managed.

Hardly a surprise but Hayes said retirement imminent at Pittodrie event with McGinn and him tonight

Fair to say it’s a bit overdue. Probably only had a couple seasons in him when he came back, but don’t think it’s been breaking the bank.

some player in his first stint. Surprised he didn’t get more caps for Ireland between 2014 & 17

i actually wondered if he'd stay on another year assuming he is going to be a Dons coach.

He helps coach the U16s and has been helping out Leven as was on one of his social media accounts about how he'd enjoyed being other side of the white line gaining experience last two games so reckon he'll continue being here with youth although individual age group coaches in Academy only part time unless he got a step up to u18s

The Dandy Dons of Aberdeen Facebook page could at least give @Tord31 a credit mention on latest copy and paste from here of out of contract list. Who is the phantom plagiarist in our midst?

Saw that too and wondered who the copy and paster is on here. Unless Tord runs that page on FB.

Was just looking at his and mcginns stats. Mcginn on 358. Both 9 years service so just short of testimonials.

Maybe we can combine their joint years and have one testimonial to recognize both players...?

Dave cormack agrees. Can't be doing both in the same month so just waits til February every year to sack the cunt.

Now we know that isn’t true, Cormack find the January transfer window to be very easy. He sits about doing fuck all for the first four weeks and then makes a couple of signings in the last week.

Can’t get rid of everyone unfortunately. I’d keep the 1s in bold italic then move the rest on if possible. That’s 13 boys meaning we need to sign around 10. Unfortunately we won’t get rid of half that’s shite above and going to lose bojan and probably duk which leaves us with 11.

I wouldn't be averse to giving Hoilett an extra year at this point. He's not got pace, but he's at least clever and could maybe pass on a few tips and a bit of experience.

I would hope he wouldn't be a first pick, but that would mean signing 2 players better than him. I can't see that happening based on recent evidence.
