He did indeed. Furthermore, he was (supposedly) being entertained by one of the wives of a Milan teammate when he hit the skids. Naughty lad.

He went to Atalanta after MIlan, with 3 league title medals, 1 champions league medal, 2 Italian cup winner medals. not bad for a flop.
