Byrne Baby Byrne
Not the most pressing point... But can't help but notice how many sound cunts there are in section X & Y these days. It's a real who's who of the sound Dandy cunts league. Then you look at the RDS and the top half is empty and the bottom half is mostly corporates that support Man United but got a free day out with work. Everyone wants their team shooting toward their near goal in the second half so what about switching it at Pittodrie?? It used to be that we shot to the Merkland Stand in the second half until about 2005 or so. I reckon we should go back to that. Would give the away fans the chance to have their team shooting towards them in the 2nd half as well. We get shit away crowds up here and maybe another thing putting them off is that if they secured a late famous victory at Pittodrie they would have to watch their goal through a fence in the South Stand miles away. Shoot toward the Sound Cunt/Bairns end. Link to comment
Tord31
RDS but happy to mix it up Link to comment
RUL
Who gives a fuck? I didn't even realise we had a preference. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
We should aim to hit the oppositions goals in the second half, as well as in the first half. That is the target. Link to comment
King Street Loon
I think we should shoot towards section v of the soother. Link to comment

Merkie84
I could open a can of worms by saying the bairns should be punted into the empty main stand and the merkland turned into a singing section a bit like the shed at jutesville. Shoot towards that in the second half. Link to comment

Shoot towards that in the second half. The only time the main stand is empty is when we aren't playing! The Merkland is a horrible stand due to the pillars, best keeping that for kids and auld folk who won't complain / get listened to much. Link to comment

ChutneyLove
Does Jamie Langfield have a preference? He should shave his heid in support of the Paddock end. Probably won't though. 1 Link to comment

As long as we hit the fkn target rather than the stand (or woodwork) then we're doing ok. Link to comment

Pudgie
Or the goalie doesnt save it of course.... No, because we've hit the target then, and that makes our stats better and we will win more games, even if the keeper saves them all. COYSOT Link to comment

COYSOTGot to be in it to win it. Never mind the spectacular postage stamp goals. Just hit the target & make the keepers work. The rest will take care of itself. McGinns biggest flaw regarding goal attempts is exactly that. He's trying too hard to beat the keeper by going for the precision shots & that's why he's hitting the woodwork so often. Said the same regarding McGinn last season when he was wide & over so often but at least he's working his way closer by hitting the woodwork now. He needs (like DG) a couple of goals in a row (any type) & the floodgates will open. Bit of a cliche but that's the case Link to comment
StandFree1982
Quite a few of our goals recently have come from shots which have been hard and straight at the keeper. There is always a chance the keeper will spill it or palm it to one of our players, which is what happened against United and Killie. Link to comment

Go for the spectacular if you like once we're "coasting" Link to comment
phoenix
Change is good so long as the positives and negatives have been considered and on the balance of which , the best decision made. Change keeps things dynamic and is worth the initial annoyance that it may cause conservatives. Link to comment
tightbreeks
I think if we can keep the same 11, and have a couple of impact subbies itching to get on if we're drawing or just behind. there is great chance and the first time these players know that if they concentrate and devote themselves to the job, then we can win this league. the town will be itching to see that league championship displayed down the canyon of heroes aka union street. tightbreeks
I was hesitant about mcginnes. all he needs to learn is stay onside, control, run with the ball 2-3 touches, steady, goal. if he just practiced this in an empty goal with just cones in front at practice, then why not.
